DEXIM Dual Dock Charger for iPhone 3G, 3G S

My wife and I have iPhones and each night we end up either looking for our chargers, or trying to beat one another to the one charger that happens to be closest and plugged in. I found this dual charging device and decided to go ahead and get it. I have to say it's been perfect. We set up the charger in a convenient spot and now we plop our phones into one dual dock and everything is tidy and the phones are charged. They stand up, so are easily viewable from across the room when a call or a text comes in. The other great feature is that we can both leave our phones in our cases and they plug into the dock fine. Most other docks I've had have required removing the case to allow the phone to seat properly. Not the case with this one. It comes with a whole slew of different adapters to provide the best fit for your phone or iPod, but we didn't need any of them. Also, the photos show a blue light around the dock. We like the blue light, so decided to leave it on, but you have the option to switch it off. In summary, I'd say this is an easy choice for a solution to charge two iPhones or iPods at once.

Unfortunately, it may be a great product, however, it would not accomodate the iphone with a "Otter Box" protective cover. I did not want to remove the otter box each night to charge the phone. I therefore, sent it back.

Decent charger dock. I've only used it for my iPhone 3G - haven't fitted it for my iPods yet. You gotta push down a bit to get it to make contact between the charging elements even though the base lights up as soon as it's engaged. Meaning that you slightly make contact and the base will light up, but you've got to push down a little harder before it actually charges. I didn't know this at first and had it sitting in there, not charging, for a little while.

One thing I will note is that I found this dock (decent design, good review, decent price) and purchased it while shopping for a dock to SYNC with my computer. Then I pulled it out of the box and couldn't find the USB port. That's because it doesn't sync with your computer - it just plugs into the wall and chargers. Sure, that's my fault for not scouring the description, but I thought that "iPhone dock" was sufficient search parameters.

So, be advised, this is a CHARGER dock, not a SYNC dock.

Be aware that the power supply connects to the back of the unit and sticks out about an inch, so don't plan on having this flush against the wall.

I bought this a few months ago because my husband and I both got iPhones (3G). This charges both phones at the same time, and its the first dock I've seen that you do not have to take your iPhone case off to charge. Its great. It came with abunch of adapters you can use, but I didn't use any. Works great and charges fast (30-45 min). No problems at all.

My husband and I both have iPhones and it seemed to be both of us needed to charge our phones at the same time. We have our own chargers in our upstairs but in our living room we only had one. This dock charger is excellent! We can charge both of our phones at the same time if need be. I didn't have to modify the plug in at all and we can charge with our cases still on our phones. The charger has a light that comes on when you have plugged in a phone to let you know its charging. This dock charger just stays on our end table in the living room and it was well worth the money.

Because we have two I-Phones, we were always tripping over cords and charging the phones all over the house. This unit sits where the land phone used to sit and is small and tidy looking. I like the lighting feature, but generally have it turned off. The only problem we have is that there are a variety of template lids that go over the charging jacks to fit a variety of phones. We put on the I-phone ones and did not realize that none of these covers work if you already have a protective cover on your phone. That protective cover makes the phone too large to fit into the jack when the template lids are snapped in. It was a struggle, but we managed to remove the lids. Now we just gently push our phones on the jacks instead. We have some concerns that eventually we will break the jacks, but if the charger lasts over a year, we would feel like we got our money's worth.

pros: does its job, convenient for my husband and i to charge our phones at the same time and only use one outlet, looks nice, led can be turned off, got it a few months ago and it is still working fine

cons: doesn't flush against the wall because of the ac adapter, it said it came with 2 iphone adapters but it is actually the second generation one that it has two of (slight difference, but not that big of a deal) so our phones sit at 2 different angles.

This charger is one of the best products. If you have a thick ottorbox, simple remove the bast adapter on the charger, and it will fix the fattest of the phones. Charges very fast. Easy to use.

Charger works well so far for 2 iphones. I like that you do not have to remove your phone from its case to charge. Keeps my counter free of wire clutter.
