highly useful,
This review is from: DICTIONARY OF THE OCCULT- (Wordsworth Collection) (Paperback)
a thoroughly helpful and easy to read reference book that effectively manages the highlights of its subject. It misses a point for simply not being all-encompassing. However, it is one of the most enjoyable and usable books around. The pages have a nice design that includes paragraphs and columns capturing the most important facts. Descriptive diagrams are interspersed - you get a lot of bang for the buck.

This review is from: DICTIONARY OF THE OCCULT- (Wordsworth Collection) (Paperback)
One of the best texts running under this banner. There are sections detailing occult concepts and includes profiles of occultists themselves. The author seems to recognise the text that metaphorical language played in magick.

This review is from: DICTIONARY OF THE OCCULT- (Wordsworth Collection) (Paperback)
This book is great if you are a beginner and want to learn more about the occult. It explains some of the things that you should know about the occult. But read under your own risk! The occult can lead to very serious matters like death and other stuff.....
