If you do a lot of foolin' around with your system, pulling and pushing components, pass on these as they don't snap into the ports. Other than that perfect optical cable.

Contrary to one of the other reviews, these cables DO snap into the ports, at least on my equipment. However, I had to push them harder than usual to get them to snap in, but once they're in, they're in tight. For this reason, I agree that these probably aren't the best choice for frequently connected and disconnected equipment, for fear of possible wear and tear on the cable or possibly the port. I leave mine plugged in, though.

These are standard quality cables that get the job done. They have metal ferrules at the tip, where all my other cables are just plastic. They seem a little bit stiffer than other optical cables I own. I connected mine to a Denon A/V receiver and a DirecTV receiver without any problems. I also did a quick test on a PlayStation 2 and a Panasonic DVD player without any problems.

For anyone who cares, the ones I received came with the clear connector caps, but the caps were not tethered to the cable (unlike the ones in the picture), nor did the cable have a peg to put the caps on when they aren't in use, like some do. In short, if you need the caps, don't lose them.

I bought this item because it was much cheaper to buy a 3-pack than buying similar cables individually elsewhere and paying shipping on each cable. I am quite satisfied with this purchase.

I needed this cable for my new Yamaha system that didnt feed audio thru the HDMI. All i needed was 1 cable and at quantity 3 the price was less than you could buy 1 at Best Buy. Works great, awesome price!

Outstanding deal, don't get ripped off at your local electronic store when you can order these and save lots of $. Great deal and they just work.

I ordered the 3 TOSLINK cables and they work great with my surround sound system. The connection to the audio receiver from the blu ray player, laptop, and cable box are secure and not lose. I highly recommend this product!

I'd almost purchased a toslink from radio sack for $14.99. I tried to find the individual cable for cheaper than this but I notice you have to pay a per item shipping. This 3 pack is less than $3 shipping, so its about $1 per cable to ship, can be that in this economy.

I'm feeding 2 optical outs from my ps2(still love my madden online), xbox360, and my samsung hd ota (*switched to coxial) running to my onkyo, with one single hdmi cable out to my TV.

They work great. They do plug in with a slight click but defnitely not as snug as say the rca component or hdmi cables. I'm not sure if optical cables fit tighter than this. I've used these cables with a mini toslink adapter to my Mac notebook and push digital music to my reciever and its excellent sound quality.

Would recommend.

Can't beat this for the price. Item recieved was as shown on picture. Clips perfect in TV and works fine. Nothing else to say.

Man, trust me on this one DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! I did, and I was pretty happy with the price. BUT...I wasn't happy with the performance. Do yourself a favor, just wait until you can buy the 7 dollar ones---cause trust me these aren't worth 2 cents....oh wait thats how much it cost. The wires are seriously ultra thin--not like the ones you'd normally see. The fiber optics was barely showing any red through--but I guess I can't complain-- I did only spend 2 cents + shipping. Crapy product----PLEASE do not get these you will be disappointed.

The product is "you get what u pay for". the cable is very thin but it doesn the trick. no real complaints except that the insulation is very thin.

I am no expert, its my first time buing an optical sound cable. I took a chance on the low-cost unit, and it paid off. It works just great. Why pay more?
