I had a hard time finding potholders and mitts that weren't too stiff. These are just the right degree of softness but thick enough to be protective. I also have small hands and the mitt is just right.

The quality of these attractive pot holders leaves much to be desired. They are too thin to really protect your hands against the heat of a hot pot. My Williams Sonoma oven mitt does a superior job for burn protection.
