...would have thought I would submit a review for dish cloths.
I tend to go through a lot of dishcloths since I do not like a yucky looking dish cloth or dish towel. I also have not been able to find a thick dishcloth with a good texture for cleaning my dishes, pot and pans for quite a few years. I finally gave up and started buying the cheap 12 packs of dish cloths fron Wally World and usually discard one and replace with another cloth within two weeks. When I read the other reviewers comments I thought why not give these a try and included them with some other items I ordered. Am I ever happy I did!! The heavy weave really makes them effective cloths. The colors of the woven fabric are attractive and do not fade even after multiple washings. They hold their shape thru extended use and laundering. These have proven to be an economical and quality solution that I can place on my Home Essentials Over The Cabinet Towel Bar along with my DII Vintage Weekday Embroidered Flour Sack Towel Set of 7 and not get disgisted by their appearance. Really happy I ordered these.

As a seamstress, I have worked with fabrics all my life and I was pleasantly surprised at not only the top-notch weave used for these cloths, but the attractiveness of them - it's excellent cotton quality for your country style kitchen and will last a long time. They wash well and have maintained their colors thru multiple washings. I've bought so many washcloths over the years and I have never found any that I was as pleased with as these - I think I will wait til they go on sale and purchase them for presents. No complaints here - you won't be disappointed!

These dish cloths are of very good quality. The red and rust colored ones will run the first couple times they are washed or used, so toss a "color catcher"-type sheet in the laundry or wash with dark colors.

The colors on these were different thanI expected. I was expecting autumn-like colors and these are just so-so. The material does feel sturdy with the waffle stitching and seem like they will hold up well to multiple washes.

These seem to be designed to be as nonabsorbent as possible. They could not dry my hands or any of my dishes effectively. Getting a new dish cloth just to make sure my knives don't dull.

So I bought these thinking they were dish towels not dish/wash clothes I didnt look very close. I have not actually used them to wash dishes however I have used them to wash up spills and they suck. They do not soak up the water at all just pushes it around. I love the colors however I dont like that they dont soak up water. So I would assume that as a washcloth that it would have to sit in dish water for a while to soak up the water. Most washclothes/dish clothes usually still soak up water.
