5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Cotton Cloth Napkins
These cotton napkins wash beautifully and don't really need any ironing. (I washed them after they arrived, and was pleasantly surprised at how soft they were right away). I would recommend them to anyone looking for nice, reasonably priced cloth napkins that are 100% cotton. Update: I've now had these napkins over a year and a half and they are as good as new. 3.0 out of 5 stars Napkins
I did not care for the quality of the cloth. They are coarsely woven and difficult to iron. The size and the sewing, however, are very good.

I would recommend them to anyone looking for nice, reasonably priced cloth napkins that are 100% cotton. Update: I've now had these napkins over a year and a half and they are as good as new. I use and launder them regularly, and they come out clean and ready to fold. I love them.

4.0 out of 5 stars fine for everyday, casual napkins, December 3, 2009

I purchased these in spice and the color is basically true to the picture online (just slightly darker when you get them home). I really like the color because they can be used from mid/late Autumn all the way through Christmastime. These are oversized country-style napkins that would be just fine for a casual lunch or tea. My only concern is that they must be steam-pressed after coming out of the dryer because they pick up horrible creases. But other than that this is a very economical napkin set that is also rather useful and versatile, too.

These are very nice quality Indian textiles. The colors are vibrant and the weave charming. They're not formal napkins, but I bought them for my and my daughter's lunch boxes. They are large enough to cover your lap (or, in my daughter's case, her school desktop), are thick and hold up to washing. I expect the colors to develop nicely as they wear a bit.

Recommended for daily or picnic use!

5.0 out of 5 stars Striped are soft and sturdy, December 29, 2009

I purchased both a Classic Stripe and dark burgudy set and the materials are different. Both appear well made, generously sized everyday dinner napkins, but the striped ones are softer right out of the package. My family keeps grabbing these striped ones as a first choice so I am ordering another set of six. I have had them only two weeks but have washed the striped ones 3 times already and the color and fabric are holding up well.

2.0 out of 5 stars wrinkles!, May 18, 2011
I got a set of 6 cerulean and 6 snapdragon. They were wrinkly all over when they arrived in the package, and they are even more wrinkly all over after I washed them and pressed them still damp from the washer. They seem to be made of a magic fabric that holds wrinkles and cannot be de-wrinkled. Too bad, because otherwise they are fine. I guess I will find some use for them -- don't suppose I can return them now that I've washed and ironed them -- but I'd be embarrassed to put them on a dining table. Little dishtowels, maybe. BTW, the snapdragon color is sort of a pleasant medium yellow, not much like either of the two different colors (straw and peachy) shown in the snapdragon swatches.

I've decided to stop using paper towels and start using real napkins in my home. Paper towels are unnecessarily wasteful and I was tired of it. After some searching I found these napkins and ordered the dark green ones. They're very good quality and work well. They're decently absorbent and they look great.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great napkins, careful with the colors., November 12, 2009

The napkins are large and thick. Very nice napkins for the price. Do not go by the color panels you see however. I got the blackberry which look like a red on the color panel but they are actually a super dark purple color. Pretty but not the color I wanted. I am too lazy to return because we use these for everyday use instead of paper napkins. I bought more in more colors. You will not be disappointed.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Everyday Napkins, February 6, 2010

These napkins are perfect for every day use. I like the material (cotton) and use them constantly. In face, I bough them in two different colors. My only complaint is that they look a little dingy after a few washes.

3.0 out of 5 stars quality lacking, July 26, 2010

Bought 100 napkins for my niece's wedding - looking for the color - great!! however, did not open packages until the night before the wedding when we were ironing them. All of the items were not of first quality - pulls, lines, etc. in material.
