I have to laugh at the previous reviews - they are thinking they ordered TOWELS when in fact, they ordered dishcloths! Dishcloths are washcloths and are about 10" square. Of course they rated them low - they didn't know what they were ordering!!

Having said that, I have ordered these washcloths in varying colors - and they are very durable and wash well! The colors do bleed a bit the first few washes, but they fade to a nice country feeling. As a seamstress, I can recognize good quality and these DISHCLOTHS are made of very thick woven cotton and will hold up for many years.

I recently purchased another 8 of them for my neighbor - she had a big birthday celebration at her home and three ladies were so impressed with the washcloths, they wanted to know where she got them and how they could obtain them! THIS SPEAKS VOLUMES!!

Buy them - you won't be disappointed!

I was looking for a "green" solution to replace paper napkins at my house, and discovered these. I LOVE them and find them perfect for this use. They are very thick, a perfect size, very nice in appearance. They have been in use about 3 months and are working out well. They wash well; the hemmed edges get a little crumpled in the dryer, but I found that removing them while still a little damp, and hanging to dry solves that issue. Mine were a set of 8 which works well for two of us; colors were different - included 2 each of the same light brown plus maroon, rust, and dark green.

When I first took them out of the package they looked a little thin and I was bummed since I was looking for heavy duty dish clothes. But after washing them and actually using them I am very impressed. They are fantastic and I love the colors!

I really wanted nice dish clothes. I saw these and read the reviews and thought they would be great. I was surprised by how much the brown ones bleed. When water hits them it looks really dirty. It took me a minute to realize it was the cloth. I had to wash them quite a while to get the brown to stop leaking. Finally they seem ok.

I do like the texture and weight of them. Its amazing how it is so hard to find something as simple as sturdy, beautiful, dish clothes that don't bleed.

If you will read the product title it states "wash clothes" not towels. My wife ordered these and loves them. I also love them the size is just right (they do shrink after they are washed) but they are still a great product. Would recommend these to a friend.

I'm another one who thought I was ordering dishtowels and got dishcloths. When they were first washed they really shrunk. Too small for dishtowels and too big for dishcloths. Though I do like the pattern. If they were bigger they would be great dishtowels.

I guess I cant complain too much, because they were inexpensive, however they are anything but heavyweight. Also they are quite small, around 10" x 10" square, the size of a face towel. I had assumed they would be a rectangular sized dish towel. Colors are accurate, just dont be mislead by heavyweight, they are quite thin.

These things are chincy. They are the last towels I reach for in the drawer. Even for just drying my hands they are sub sub prime. Don't buy them. They are not absorbent, nor were they a good deal. Maybe they would be good for cleaning up after exercise in the bedroom.

I ordered this 9 days ago and it hasn't even shipped yet. I'd love it if someone would explain why 6 small washcloths would take over a week to package and ship?
