DII Garden Grove Printed and Embroidered Dishtowel, Set of 2

I bought these because the colors were perfect for my kitchen and they were made of cotton instead of terry and/or microfiber. I purchased 2 sets. Took them out of the package and, to be honest, not real thrilled about them but they were cute enough so decided to keep them. First thing I noticed was the embroidery didn't exactly outline the stamped design in fact, it was way off. This flaw was not bad enough to warrant a return besides they're only dishtowels and really cute! Well, I washed them for the first time in cold water & Woolite on delicate because of the embroidery and they washed up horribly. The dark green border along the bottom of the towel came out looking like tye-dye. And the towel itself was stiff like wrinkled paper (even with using Downy in the rinse). I'm not sure what country these were made in but the workmanship and fabric are very low quality. I've since washed these towels several times and they have held their color and have actually softened up a bit. Unless you are absolutely loving the design and color, like myself, do not purchase. Oh, and the absorbency, with or without fabric softener, is a 2 out of 5! In my opinion they are not worth $11!

I like these cute dishtowels, but in retrospect, I wish they were more absorbent, they're a little too thin to be useful, and seem more decorative than anything else.

Pretty in the kitchen but not absorbent! Also come out wrinkled from the dryer.
