While the colors are ok, I suggest them for a more feminine home. I wanted them to scream "Spring" but they sort of missed the mark. The blue is sort of a turquoise and the green is sort of lime green. Well made, though, and great fabric. I think it is really just the pictures that trouble me... they are a little brighter than you'd think in person. I believe you can have florals and still be gender neutral. This is definitely not the case with these towels. They are totally feminine and a bit much for me. They'd be nice for the right person, I believe. Think "female, 20-something-single-girl apartment".
