These are great dishcloths. Super soft, super absorbent, good for the environment, and naturally antibacterial. However, the company that makes them is called "Design Imports India", which I took to mean that they were made in India. 2.0 out of 5 stars Towel Becomes Too Wet
I like the feel of the towel but the towel becomes very wet after a few hand dryings and does not dry quickly. I also noticed an odor, which the description said would not happen.

This review is from: DII Lake Rayon Made From Bamboo Dishcloth, Set of 2 (Kitchen)
These are great dishcloths. Super soft, super absorbent, good for the environment, and naturally antibacterial. However, the company that makes them is called "Design Imports India", which I took to mean that they were made in India. These are actually made in China, and since many people have tried to stop buying products from China recently, due to the economic relationship and the recent lead poisoning, I thought this info would be helpful.
Otheriwse they're perfect.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bamboo dishcloth, March 13, 2008

I was hesitant to order the bamboo dishcloths because of their price but found they live up to everything promised. The best part is that they seem less likely to have that "sour" smell after a few uses. Initially, the color bleed from the item was quite a fair amount, but after washing it once, there was no more bleed. The material is soft and dries quickly. I would recommend this product and feel that even with the slightly high price, it is well worth the purchase.

5.0 out of 5 stars Unbelievably soft!, January 27, 2008
I ordered sets of these towels to replace an older set of micro fiber towels. These new towels are unbelievably soft. Until now I had no idea that you could use bamboo fiber to make cloth, let alone cloth that is so soft. They do a great job on drying dishes. We liked them so much that I bought 3 sets (of 2) in one color for dish towels and another 3 sets of a different color for kitchen hand towels (we don't like using paper towels needlessly, better that way for the environment).

5.0 out of 5 stars Love bamboo, August 25, 2009
By
It's probably been 2 years since I purchased these towels & dishclothes and they still look great. I will purchase more when I need to. The only complaint I have about the bamboo is that food sticks to the washcloth when I'm washing dishes and doesn't rinse out under the faucet easily. But I have lots of dishclothes so I change them out at least once a day.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bamboo Dishtowels, September 20, 2008
I recently purchased Bamboo towels for the bathroom and they are the BEST towels I have ever owned. They are soft, absorbant and very thick. I decided to buy the bamboo towels for the kitchen and they are just as thick and soft. They do not fray and they don't smell like other kitchen towels.

5.0 out of 5 stars They soak it up and don't get smelly, September 1, 2008

These are my favorite dish towels. Actually I use them more for hand towels in the kitchen. They get my hands dry remarkably faster and dryer than cotton and they last longer than cotton before they smell like they need laundering.

Edit: After several months I noticed the hem around the edges has shrunk a little and so the towel no longer hangs flat. This may be my fault because I didn't notice the washing instructions and washed warm instead of cold.

1.0 out of 5 stars Bleeding cloths, July 29, 2008

My gosh, although these clothes are beautiful and soft, their colors ran everywhere. To have washed them with other clothing would have been a disaster.
