I have purchased "flour sack" towels in the past and these are not of the same quality that I am used to. The material is not what a traditional flour sack material would be and if you have used flour sack towels you will know what I mean. They are very thin which I like because they dry fast and don't get stinky like thicker dish towels do. But they are a gauze-like material not a smooth sheet-like material. Don't wash them together either at least the first few washes because the color runs!

I was looking for crisp floursack towels. My plan was to add applique and embroidery to spice them up. While these functionally are nice towels, and the colors are bright and cheery, they are VERY WRINKLED. After spending a ton of time trying to iron one of them flat and crisp, it was still more wrinkled looking than I wanted.

I've washed and decorated many floursack towels, and the others have never wrinkled this bad.

Again, fine for functionality, as long as you are ok with wrinkled look.
