Just a word of warning: They are beautiful placemats, but I was looking for something a little bit less time consuming. Every time you dry them in the dryer, even if you immediately pull them out, you need to iron them to even slightly get their shape back.

color more drab than in picture,

Their fine for the money but as others said previous you must iron them, even when pulled directly from the dryer. Also the color is dissaponting much more drab than in online photo. Other than that they work just fine, they can take a spill and it washes right off.
