They work! I can finally get rid of the old heat generating / electricity wasting conventional bulbs in my 2 ceiling fans on dimmer switches. The price I paid was phenomenally low too.

I ordered the 10 pack of light bulbs a while ago (before shipping went up to nearly $70). Everything seemed to be going smoothly until the arrival window for my order passed and there were still no light bulbs to be seen. I contacted Red Tag through Amazon and got no response so I filed a complaint with Amazon. Fortunately, Amazon decided to reimburse me for the purchase and I have since ordered the 16 pack of dimmable CFLs from another vendor (still via Amazon of course). The bulbs have not arrived yet but with any luck everything will go smoothly this time. Stay tuned...

These bulbs were inexpensive and useless. They blew out after a couple of months, with a puff of a horrible smelling vapor which filled the room for an hour.

They were supposed to last for years!
