4.0 out of 5 stars Good figure October 15, 2013
Edition:Syndrome
I got Syndrome mainly to unlock the vaults. He is rather slow when it comes to running. He isn't as agile and lithe as Violet and Mrs. Incredible. His moves include punching with an uppercut using his boosters. He can also equip Zero Point Energy, which is pretty neat. With the zero point energy, he can lift anyone and then catapult them into the air.

(The Incredibles can equip this superpower towards the end of the game - right before the final showdown with Syndrome in the adventure mode. Once equipped, you can have access to the Zero Point Energy in the Toy Box mode.)

Do you need this Syndrome figure to defeat Syndrome in the final showdown?

No.

Buy Syndrome only if you want to open the vaults in order to access additional toys in the Toy Box mode.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cute character October 2, 2013
Edition:Syndrome|Verified Purchase
My family plays this game and they were very glad to get this "villain" character. They were not interested in the multi-pack for the villains so this single pack was great. Thank you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Syndrome is a great addition to Disney Infinity December 10, 2013
Edition:Syndrome|Verified Purchase
Syndrome is a great addition to Disney Infinity. He of course unlocks new missions, challenges and now allows you to play missions for the Incredibles in Co-Op mode locally if this is your first new infinity incredibles character. I really love the figure, his hair is awesome and the figure is designed really well.

5.0 out of 5 stars My boys are happy. April 9, 2014
Edition:Syndrome|Verified Purchase
My son is having the time of his life playing with his Xbox. It is great to watch him and his father bond and act like 4 year olds together. Of course he is 4, but my husband...well lets just say he is young at heart.

5.0 out of 5 stars My daughters love the Infinity system February 8, 2014
Edition:Syndrome|Verified Purchase
Disney has a gold mine in place since they have so many characters they can add to the Infinity world - my daughters spend hours playing with various characters on weekends - it's a lot of fun playing with characters you've come to love over the years.

5.0 out of 5 stars A surprisingly playable villain February 7, 2014
Edition:Syndrome
Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
Syndrome is a collectable figure based on his character from The Incredibles animated movie and a game piece for Disney Infinity game. I got this figure just because I wanted the other two villains in the Disney Infinity Figure 3-Pack: Villains. This figure looks great, sculpt and paint applications are almost perfect on this line. However, I was surprised of how enjoyable was to play with this character.

In game, Syndrome Is a good combatant. In addition to the Toy Boxes, he is available in The Incredible Play Set.

His main attack (Triangle button on PS3 controller) consists of:
a. a right punch (one click)
b. attack (a) and a left punch (two consecutive clicks) and
c. attack (b) and a power boots rocket assisted finale punch (three consecutive clicks)

His secial attack (R2 trigger on PS3 controller) consists of holding a target with a zero point energy field. Once in hold, Syndrome can use an enemy as a projectile. In this fashion, he can take care of two enemies in a fight.

Syndrome also includes his own adventure: Syndrome's Sorting Sprint

As many other adventures, this is a race against time where you throw as many people to safety using a zero point energy gauntlet in a limited time. The people are the small sprites that you can easily pickup. This is as you struggle on top of conveyor belts and incoming robots. You get rewarded with medals (Bronze, Silver and Gold) based on the amount that you save.

In all, Syndrome is an unexpected good addition to the Disney Infinity Starter Pack.
