Bought this several months ago for a basement remodel. I installed it in a counter top. So far so good. Has held up pretty well. It cleans easy and has not scratched. Only annoying thing is like some others have mentioned that water sometimes collects around the drain. Seems that the slope isn't perfect. It's a pretty deep sink too so installation was a little difficult in a sink base, but overall manageable. I recommend this for someone looking for a nice look, but not wanted to spend hundreds on higher end sinks. By the way, this is some sort of plastic type material. It's isn't ceramic or stone although it does look like it. The finish is glossy and looks very nice.

This is a basic laundry room sink. You will have drill the holes for the faucet set, but this allows you to use any type of faucet.

The sink is great. It is exactly as advertised and described. Easy to install and the drill holes for faucets are even marked on the underside or the sink lip were you need to drill. The only thing that was difficult were the bolt like hardware that is supposed to hold the sink in place. I would recommend this sink. I am including a couple of photos of my finished installation.

The house we are moving into has a sink in the laundry room. The one in the house had a 1" hole in the bottom. I was pleased to see the difference between the Swanstone DIT-010 and the old sink.

The bottom and walls of the old sink, made of a hard plastic, were perhaps 1/16" inch in some places including most of the bottom. It is no surprise that the old sink would have easily broken just by dropping something into it. The new Swanstone sink appears to be closer to 1/4" thiick and the material is a bit softer so has some give.

Installation was quicker and easier than I thought it would be. Taking the old sink out involved disconnecting the water inlet hoses and drain, then I used a putty knife and hammer to get under the lip of the old sink to break it free and remove it. I used the old sink as a pattern to drill holes for the faucet. Using a 1/2" drill bit followed by the Dremel tool with a small grinding bit the holes were ready in just a few minutes. I installed the hoses, laid a bead of silicone putty around the underside of the sink and slipped it in. There are 4 small brackets and nylon screws supplied to draw the sink down and hold it in place. I connected up the inlet and drain, cleaned it up, and it was done.

Ordered and was cracked . didn't see it till holes were drilled so unable to return. Bought another and was cracked again. Compared to the composite material of the old one we had and there was no comparison in quality, the old sink was probably twice the weight and thickness. Husband thought it was cheap junk and toss it in the trash. Went ahead and ordered a duplicate of the old sink.

I bought this tub along with a hickory base cabinet to replace a cheap plastic tub with plastic legs in my laundry room. It is light weight, durable and looks great.

I finally got around to installing it a year after I bought it and noticed that a small chip was starting to form on the right side of the edge of the tub. It was clearly a manufacturing defect since it was under the protective plastic covering and didn't look like it could have been damaged by shipping or handling of the product. I contacted Swanstone via email about the problem and sent along some pictures of the small chip. They had me fill out a claim form and send them a scan of my sales receipt. They suggested I contact the seller to see if they would exchange the tub but after I told them that it had been a year since I bought it and returning it was not an option they agreed to replace the tub no questions asked. Within days they had a new tub shipped via FedEx and told me to keep the old one.

Great service and no hassles at all. With customer service at a minimum at many companies these days, it was refreshing to see the way they handled my problem. While I can't comment on the performance of the tub itself since I haven't finished installing it yet, if it works as well as Swanstone's customer service it should prove to be a great addition to my laundry room.

I bought this for my work shop sink, It is very deep so cleaning parts, paint supplies, etc is very easy. Be sure the drain location in the wall is low enough since the sink is so deep.

I found this listing on Amazon recently as I was researching Swanstone shower products, and since we have had this exact sink installed in our laundry room for 15 years I thought people might benefit from my review after 15 years of daily use, including washing paint brushes, muddy shoes, scrubbing barbecue grids etc. The sink is still looking great! Really. Yes the bottom probably has been scratched a little but you would never know it. It seems impervious to whatever we hit it with. Very rugged, won't chip. Quite large and certainly deep enough to fill a large bucket under the faucet or soak assorted barbecue parts. Although it is a molded or formed plastic type material about 1/4 inch thick, the surface looks and feels something like solid-surface counter material (Corian). Ours is the Tahiti sand color - sort of granite-like. Has a sheen I would call semi-gloss. We had our entire kitchen renovated a few years ago with high end granite, cabinets and appliances but were still happy enough with the attractive appearance of this sink in the laundry room to keep it. Its a laundry room after all, intended for heavy-duty work, no need to squander a lot of money on a sink which wont be as functional or dependable.
