A MUST READ for anyone contemplating divorce,

I left my husband in 1984. Like the author, I've been through 2 trials, 1 appeal and too many court motions to count. My divorce lasted 15 years. As of today, I am free and just celebrated my 25th wedding anniversary with my second husband. I do not agree completely with the author, where her ex's attorney is to blame for the litigation. The lesson to learn here, and eventually the author did learn through all her mistakes, she was the one who needed to hire the pitbull attorney. She doesn't know me, but I have walked with her and I too, learned the hard way...but my exhusband was an excellent teacher. It's important to read both of this author's books. She has a lot of sound advice to give and her books need to be DIGESTED by the reader. Do not make a move until you read BOTH of her books. They are well worth the money invested.

Divorce: The Real Truth and Hidden Dangers seems to be thinking of all of us that are continually taking trips to the court room, dealing with a toxic ex and dishonest attorneys. Ann Bradley understands and encourages us to use our strengths and not become a victim. This is a window into corruption and how it can change your life in divorce court. An honest and compelling perspective into the world of unethical divorce attorneys and narcissism.

very enlightening and sheds good light on the dark corners of the divorce experience whether with your ex or your seemingly friendly but inherently shady attorney.. as I said, had i only known and read beforehand.

It takes the reader from opposing counsel and his threats to an analysis of the psychology of trauma, the legal system and unethical attorneys and how to survive it all. The insight into how the narcissist manipulates the legal system has helped me see what I am up against and how I need to change my strategy. Intelligent and fascinating. The interviews and stories of divorces in Silicon Valley came as a shock. I had no idea what was going on there. If you don't like in depth analysis you won't like this. It could have a better title.

This book helped me more than my lawyers, but it cost a lot less!,

In 2005 after my psychologist told me he thought my ex had Narcissistic Personality Disorder, I began researching NPD on the internet and came across author Ann Bradley and her website[...]
I ordered this book and it empowered me to properly deal with my attorneys who didn't understand my ex and what he and his attorney were doing to me. I only wish I had read the book before divorce papers were filed. I would have done things much differently. 2 thumbs up!! |
