Cannot say this will be on my playlist, but not really my type of music. For some, it may be.

Tired. Not worth it. I really couldn't get into this. It was free so I took a chance but it was definitely a waste of space on my ipod.

At time of review this was a free song from Amazon.

I judge music on the overall sound (music, texture, singing) as well as the meaning. It's not always easy to understand the lyrics, and therefore the meaning.

I wasn't that impressed with the overall sound - it's ok, a modern rocking song, nothing particularly new. But I wondered about the lyrics, some of which I got. Here's an excerpt:

Not disenchanted
but feeling stuck
so yeah dude, i do give a [expletive deleted]
America, you know better
i know we can get it together
so baby,
tell me about the dream
of feeling good

So, a frustrated young person trying to make a life in a USA that is struggling with a bad economy and not enough jobs. He hasn't given up, but IS feeling stuck. Willing to do the work, doesn't expect the life, the dream, to be handed to him. Not quite angry, but not far off.

I was going to rate this as 3 stars until I read the lyrics. They are relevant to many in current times, carry an important message, and add a lot of meaning to the song. So now "I Like It" (four stars). It's definitely worth a listen, maybe more.
