This is the beginnings of what progressive house/trance is today. this cd contains 2 classic mixes from Sasha and Dave Seaman and it is clear that these are the roots of the sounds Sasha has put forward in other outstanding mixes, notably the northern exposure II westcoast edition and northern exposure III. Though it does not carry the mystique of the renound renaissance mix collection 1 or 2 this does give a glimpse of these for a fraction of the price. As for Dave Seaman, having most of his releases, again this is a top notch effort from him and does not dissapoint. If your into the classic house/trance type music this is a must have. Cheers!!

This CD is a great example of where Trance and Progressive came from! The tracks are authentic club hits from the early days. For those who are looking for somethng new or fresh, look elsewhere. For those who want to take a glimpse of where Trance and Progressive came from, then this CD is a must! I highly reccomend this CD for the old school enthusiasts.

I had this cd years ago and i couldn't find it when i went through my collection. I was able to find it on Amazon and I was so happy to add it back to my collection. This - for me - is just a classic mix that is a blending of rave, disco and even some freestyle. It was made at a time when music wasn't so restricted and DJs mixed anything they wanted as long as it sounded good...

moonshine records vintage grooves spun seamlessly. Great mixes, great older house anthems. A must have for happy house heads

this is defiantly not rap or hip hop to me, it is house/progressive trance. i got the stress compilation in a used cd store. it caught my eye, cause the first half of the cd is mixed by dj sasha, and the second half is mixed by dave seaman. I loved the way the whole cd flowed. seaman's half completely blew me away. a great cd.
