4.0 out of 5 stars Dan the Man has returned to Rock your world!
after a 2 and a half year hiatus, DJ Dan returns with a CD that proves why he's one of the top House Music DJs in the world! 1.0 out of 5 stars Trendy crap
Seriously. I don't know if he's trying to be funny, but I'm not laughing. I'm only rating this cd because of what a waste of time it is to rate them all. They each suck powerfully and consistently. This is crap that a "gen-x'er" would consider good "techno" music so they can seem "open-minded." For those of you who love junk like Slipknot, Linkin Park, Fuel, Limp...

after a 2 and a half year hiatus, DJ Dan returns with a CD that proves why he's one of the top House Music DJs in the world! Phat and funky House are the main ingredients in this mix of bouncy bumpin beats. The future of House music is in DJ Dan's hands and he points it exactly in the right direction incorperating nothing less than premium Funky House tracks "Stone Age" by Eric Davenport and Smitty which asks us to " Lets go back in time...the time of the cave man!" Also incorperated in this gem of a mix is what I consider to be the new sound of House: techno-infused disco house tracks that also include elements of 80's music. Tracks such as "Go to Dance" by Louis Botella and "Get next to the opposite Sex" by Scanty pay homage to our disco, funk, and new wave past and point us to the future of dance music. A four out of five, impress your friends and pick up this scorcher!

5.0 out of 5 stars DJ Dan Does it Again, August 26, 2001
This review is from: DJ Dan: In Stereo (Audio CD)
Ok, DJ Dan is insane. If you have never seen a live set, this comes close; but his live sets are even more high-energy. The funky, house/techno/disco hard bangin' beats and mixes that DJ Dan is famous for are all here. Get this CD. The only thing you will regret is that it is not a 4hr set spun at 1015.

4.0 out of 5 stars Deeper, and Funky, August 22, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: DJ Dan: In Stereo (Audio CD)
Dan did it again with a constant pounding of brand new house beats. The beginning and end of the album show a deeper style, but the middle is non stop head spinning house bliss. Highly recommended for any fan of house music beacuse of the fact that "In Stereo" covers so much ground.

Having been a friend of Dan's since High school I'm thrilled to see him get the recognition he deserves.
It's nearly impossible for me to choose ONE favorite recording.
..In Stereo is definitely in the top three.
It's a brilliant work of Art the way he introduces us to Samples of the tracks into what appears to be someone flipping thru a radio station.
I really love the way he does Liquid Peoples, "I am somebody" To know Dan is to be aware of how unpretentious he is, But this song is an Awesome Affirmation of the fact, he is SOMEBODY!
..
If you can only buy one; Buy this one! Make sure to visit djdan.com to find out where you can experience him live..

The whole recording is High Energy House Music, Trancing and Thumping and Working you until you cant help but get a groove on!

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfection, October 1, 2001

If you like Dan you'll love this CD it's got a retro party feel with slammin tracks. The breakdowns break way down but come back higher that when they started. I personally think the second half is the best. Definitely grab it if you see it

5.0 out of 5 stars DJ Dan once again shows us his funky side, September 29, 2001

This review is from: DJ Dan: In Stereo (Audio CD)
Without a doubt, dj dan has showed why he's colorado's favorite dj. Once again he's come out with a bangin, yet very funky house/techno mix. I can honestly say this has been my best purchase of the last year as far as cd's go. With tracks like "Street Preachersz" this is for sure a cd for the bangin house enthusiast.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another phat release from Dan, September 28, 2001
This review is from: DJ Dan: In Stereo (Audio CD)
DJ Dan has always been one of my favorite DJ's, and this is exactly why. I wasn't even aware that DJ Dan had come out with a new mix CD until I stumbled upon it at Amazon.com. He definately does not disappoint. This CD is full of the funky, bangin' house that Dan has been spinning the last couple years. This CD has rekindled my decreasing faith in house music. By the way, does anyone find it strange that DJ Dan has a record called "Get Next To The Opposite Sex?"

As usual, Dj Dan takes the rest of the tired old world, drags it out on the dancefloor, and makes it shake its booty. If you do, or even ever, like house music; there is no way you should miss this one! Definatly find out what you have been missing all these years that Dj Dan has been making little house heads like myself dance all night long!
