I bought the game mainly because I love some of the artists featured in the game, such as Deadmau5, Tiesto, Pitbull, Chemical Brothers, and David Guetta. I have to say, it's a lot more fun than I expected. It's pretty easy to learn, but offers a challenge for more advanced players in the hard and expert modes (which I have yet to conquer). It's a bit more challenging than guitar hero, in that at times you have to perform several operations at once. However, I think it's a lot easier to complete the songs in these games, regardless of how bad you are. In guitar hero, you can be booed off the stage by missing the first dozen notes or so. In DJ it's a lot easier to keep with it.

There is a decent selection of songs for this game, with some being more of the pop scene, and other less known artists, but equally enjoyable whether you know the song or not. The songs chosen to be blended together are just awesome, with some mixes that you would never think to put together. I also like that you get to play with popular DJs as your character, such as Deadmau5 or Tiesto, but heads up- you have to win them to play them!

The only dissappointment was the freestyle sections. I was under the impression that the freestyle would be longer, giving more freedom to the player, but they really only range from 2 to 10 seconds of freestyle. Even so, I thoroughly enjoy this game and readily reccommend it to gamers of all ages (though not for those sensitive to flashing lights). I reccommend getting the party bundle as well, as it's a lot more fun playing with others and really changes the gaming experience.

The game is really fun, but let me tell you why you should buy the PARTY PACK over the single one. It is MUCH more fun to duel and scratch together than by yourself. the added microphone makes it that much better, and it is a huge hit at get togethers! i went back and forth on which one to buy, but i am definitely glad i got the party pack. Boyfriend said it was his favorite gift. On the game there is a beginner level too, which helps when first starting out and i would definitely recommend going through the tutorials first, but after that it is just fun!

I had to review this product to tell the people that might be thinking of buying this. All I can say is: this game is great. It's fun, you can play this in a party and entertain your guests, you can challenge a friend. And the sounds you make are great. I recommend this game completely. I have a Wii Guitar and so far I can say the turntable is my favorite. The party bundle was an excellent idea and the microphone is a nice addition. And I love all the mashups.
