I bought this CD about 2 years ago, back when DJ favoritism was really bad. It still exists, but just isn't as bad, cause alot of DJs actually work together now when it comes to providing insight or producing and such.

This has always been a special CD in my collection, and I felt compelled to write a review after seeing someone gave it 2 stars I believe.

The track selection was great, but I knew this CD would get discredited some because ATB made this a DJ mix, and you can tell in the first couple of songs, it has an almost live feel, and he's using different types of transitions, as opposed to pushing something out via ableton live that is already beatmatched and doesn't need to use these DJing techniques. Don't get me wrong though, because I love mixes that have used that software, also. So I'm in no way being biased, I'm just saying at first, it will be something you aren't used to, but it is a true DJ mix, and you'll come to respect that as I did hopefully.

I have always been an ATB fan, ever since Movin' Melodies came out. His style of trance is one of a kind; great melodies, cool beats, and chilled moments. This mixed double cd and third chill cd, is the first by ATB since he did Trance Mix USA. That cd was good, this is great. All the tracks on the 2 mixed cd's are a really good collection of all the latest progressive trance. It also has great remixes of some club favorites. If you only buy one cd by ATB, this should be it. However, all four of ATB's albums are great, it is his own music, as only ATB can do it. It is really too bad that this mixed cd is an IMPORT ONLY, you will not find it in any store, so don't waste your time....Forget about all the hundreds of mixed cd's out there, believe me, this is one of the best!
P.S. You really can't go wrong when buy cd's with either ATB, Tiesto, Van Dyk, Oakenfold, or Van Buuren's name on them....Those are the collections you should always look for!

Like all the others that posted their reviews, I've been listening to Trance for quite some time. I bought this CD at a time when I almost gave up on this kind of music. Why give up on Trance? Well, personally, there are few Mixes out there that can hold the attention of the average listener. Its a fact that many people automatically label Trance as monotonous and boring. However, this Mix by ATB is quite the opposite. This Euphoric, Emotionally Generated Mix brings life to Trance. I'm pleased to have found this Mix.

Final thoughts: I'm perplexed why anybody would rate this CD two stars. "No Silence", also by ATB, cannot be compared to this CD since that album is almost completely different but still an ATB signature creation. No Silence contains more vocal trance, and when compared to a Mix there is a big difference. Rating this CD, "DJ in the Mix", so poorly is an injustice to ATB and his productions. He happens to be #8 on the DJ List; One of the world's top 10 DJs! I voice this opinion because I happen to own both of these CDs ( No Silence / Dj in the Mix ). Although each create a different feeling with a different style, they are both awesome and from the same source - ATB. Andre Tenneberger has skill; Haters,.. Just give it up for ATB!

ATB has been ranked as one of the worlds top 10 D.J's and after listening to this cd it becomes apperant why. the songs are incredibly full and each have a sound of there own while still haveing the same basic sound that can be related to atb yet are still completely independant from his style. Also each song is mixed flawlessly making you wounder when the song you'd just been listening to ended. Even if your not a fan of ATB this cd is still a must have.

I have to say this is by far the best mix compulation album i ever heard. ATB has made an awesome job mixing tracks, with style and experience of a true professional artist and dj.

I have always been an ATB fan, but usually his CD's aren't hard and driving enough to be good workout music. This CD set is the exception! Very energizing, almost all the tracks are good. I found my self listening to this cd set over and over the first couple of weeks after I got this!

ok, first off ATB is some of the best electronic music i've ever heard. I would just like to make that clear becuase im not slammin' them. I bought this album without really looking at the song titles too closely, which was a big mistake. i could tell right away that this cd was comprised of remixes from other DJs all put into one uniteresting, unoriginal, repetitive, difinitly not-ATB worthy album. the bass drops are ALL the same. in get really mind numbing after a while. dont get me wrong, i love trance music, but this is just bad. go for a great album like "no silence" by ATB, if you dont have it get it, you'll love it. save this one for the posers.

I bought this album in feb this year. Didn't know what to expect of ATB. This cd is more then good it's the best mix cd I have ever heard in my life. The two-disc set includes over 30 tracks of pure trance music. The mixing and editing is perfect and it never slows down one minute. The entire album is almost 140 minutes long. I don't care for vocals in trance so for me it's perfect with just driving beats and hypnotic melodies. I just love this album so much. I can listen to the songs over and over again without getting tired of them. The picture on the front is extremly hot,he is truly the hottest DJ around. If you like trance in general buy this wonderful album and all his original albums too. Support this man and his music.

This has to be one of the best trance albums ever, although slightly flawed. Disc one is a little weak after the first two tracks, but disc two is truly awesome, especially "Binary Finary" and "In My Dreams". Better than Tiesto, PVD, and Oakenfold. Why? Because it has emotion and has moments of pure bliss. This music makes me feel intelligent and young again. BTW, I am 52 years old (maybe you noticed I can spell)

the track selection is fine and okay, but the track order is horrid. No FLOW! proving that he just took popular tracks that other big djs are spinning and sold an album without a smile. the mixing is terrible and abrupt, its basically not mixing. no art there.
