Just opened it and the kids are having trouble with it playing some store bought CDs. I also tried to burn some music from our collection and they don't work either. Radio has very poor reception will not pick up any local stations. Other radios in the house will. There is no readout for the radio dial, so you have no idea what you are tuning to. I've got to think they could have used better components, even with the $50 price tag. On the plus side, one of my kids is only 5 and doesn't play with CD's much so he will enjoy the microphone and sound effects (only 4 or 5 of them), but $50 is alot to pay for just that...
