"DJ The Dog Who Rescued Me" by David Troussaint is the author's story of his dog DJ and how adopting him brought David Troussaint out of his depression. It is a very uplifting story of DJ. The photographs taken by Piero Ribelli are very precious. Mr. Troussaint is spot on in telling that dog's are wonderful companions. A dog's love is extremely unconditional. Dog's are very smart and quickly learn our routines and will never disappoint us. I miss my two Chihuahuas very much, they were also very loyal, loving, and funny. I highly recommend "DJ The Dog Who Rescued Me" by David Troussaint. Thank you Mr. Troussaint for such a lovely book and thank you Mr. Ribelli for the gorgeous photographs of DJ throughout. This book is definitely "my cup of tea"!!!

A charming story of the love between and man and his dog. I don't want to create any spoilers....but I would highly recommend this to anyone who is 'true' lover of dogs. He writes with such feeling. I'm so glad I ordered this.

I loved this book, it really made me realize just what a precious thing a dogs love is. I identified with all the details of how the responsibility caring for another creature , so small in physique but so enormous in the gift of love , changes your life forever in the best way possible . the author really hit the mark with this story of healing and love.

This is, in effect, the simplest of love stories; it will resonate with anyone who has ever been guardian to a four-legged family member. As the story of DJ's life with David unfolds, both in words and photos, we as readers realize just how much truth is in the title. The perfect stocking-stuffer for all the animal lovers on your list. Be sure to keep a copy for yourself, though--for a handy reminder of the fleeting moments we all must learn to cherish.
