It's really not that good, but it was worth my time reading it
This is one of those books I bought in the airport. I'd probably buy it again at an airport, but I wouldn't buy it on a place like amazon, where there's a better selection of basic accounting books. All I wanted was a quick overview of different accounting concepts, and it did give me that. But, it's really not a very good book. It's very...

This is one of those books I bought in the airport. I'd probably buy it again at an airport, but I wouldn't buy it on a place like amazon, where there's a better selection of basic accounting books.
All I wanted was a quick overview of different accounting concepts, and it did give me that. But, it's really not a very good book. It's very choppy, and I asked a real accountant about a few terms they used in the book, and he said, "I've never heard that term before." The pictures and illustrations are sometimes unintentionally funny.
