Do not buy these. The item I received was not what was pictured here on amazon. I did receive 4x4 sterile, 12ply gauze sponges, but they were not the brand/item pictured and were not the quality that was expected. This 12-ply is inferior because the weave is so loose. Don't waste your shipping expense. CVS 12 ply is at least 4 times the thickness!
