This battery is trash. It lasted less than one month before it died. Do not buy this.

Installed this battery on a Dell Inspiron 1521 Laptop.. Thus far it works great. Only trouble is that the battery is slighty bigger and there is a tiny lip at the back of the laptop. Had a little trouble getting it to seat also. but this is small compared to the price savings.. a dell oem would have cost more than twice the price.

Well it works better than the old battery. The charge doesn't last that long. We didn't return it because we use the laptop all the time. Next time I will buy from dell.

The battery fit in my DELL INSPIRON 1520 without any issues. It has a similar LED indicator on the battery that tells you the level it is at.

I get 3 odd hours roughly the same as I used to get with my original DELL battery (when I bought my laptop).

It was delivered on the day that I was supposed to receive it (Expected Delivery date).

I would NOT recommend this product within a few days the battery life indicator peeled off within 3 weeks the product no longer worked I called for a refund and yet have not received the return box nor a refund it has been over 2 1/2 months

this battery is some crap. i bought mine in January 28, 2009 and today May 29, 2009 mais computer won't even stay on for 15mn.

I need help to have as much info i can have on the manufacture warranty!

Waste of money. Do not buy this. I bought mine in May, after 3 months it wouldn't even charge. Pure trash.

The problem you face when buying Batteries for Laptops that are 3+ years old is the batteries that are available cheaply do not hold up over time. Unless you strapped for Cash its best to buy from the Laptop manufacture if available.

This battery is junk. Battery began fine, then stopped working a month later. I had to return it to exchange for another one. The new one worked fine for about another month, then stopped working. Three weeks later it started working again, then stopped again. So on and so forth. Right now it says "charging (100%)" It should say "fully charged (100%)." If I unplug the laptop, the computer turns off and the battery is useless. Stay away from this one - nothing but problems!!

This is a great product for the Inspiron - I was debating whether or not to purchase the Dell Battery but upon reading the description provided, I felt confident that this battery would work and, indeed, it worked very well. Of particular note, the service and price through Amazon is terrific!!
