DLO Action Jacket Case with Armband for SanDisk Sansa Clip (Black)

Really, this is a no-frills item. It's a neoprene armband, with a neoprene stitching to which you can conveniently attach and detach the player instantly. It also features a plastic loop and velcro components for secure mounting. It stays on your arm and will not move.

Also included is a case for the actual player itself, which stretches and securely fits around the player like a glove. They were smart enough to make all of the holes and labels on it, so once you put it on, there's really no reason to take it back off again. You can plug and unplug headphones, change the volume, and charge your player in the USB port with no problems at all.

My only complaint with this item (other than its ricockulous price), is actually not even the fault of the armband maker. It's Sansa's. The clip on the Sansa Clip does not have anything on the bottom inside part of it to help fasten it to whatever it's clipped to. Look at the bottom of your cell phone holster or any other electronic device...there's usually a small protrusion on the bottom inside that helps the give the clip something to hold to. This isn't a huge deal and you'll probably never have to worry about it, but it's still something Sansa should fix in the future.

It would've gotten 5 stars had it not cost me 1/3 of the price of the actual player itself.

Purchased in September 2010. Read all the comments before deciding to buy this particular item as I ruined Sansa Clip due to moisture getting into the unit. Sansa sent me a new unit - covered under warranty. Before using it, I looked into getting an armband instead of clipping it on my running shorts to hopefully minimize getting moisture in the unit. I was concerned about comments like "to small armband" and "the protective cover was not made for the clip...but rather the clip+ (later version). When I got it I quickly concluded that the sleeve that it fits into IS made for the Clip, and the armband is plenty big enough for most biceps....maybe not if you are absolutely HUGE like about leg size !! I am VERY satisfied with my choice and it is easy to turn off/on, increase or lower volume, and click the unit through the clear plastic on front of unit. I'm enjoying my product choise, and if you are motivated as I was to avoid moisture getting into the unit, you'll be pleased as well.

Great armband and makes for a great case by itself. Only thing bad is it's a little more difficult to press the buttons through the case.

This arm band does work with the Sansa clip, however, the fabric is not the most comfortable around your arm - if you are a runner like me you could get chaffing. Overall though it has worked well and does allow me access to all the buttons I need while on the go.

This is an attractive case, that lets the aethetics of the Clip show through (as versus with the less expensive silicone cases). It also gives the Clip some cushioning, further protecting the Clip. The only downsides to it: (1) you stretch the case over the Clip to put it on, meaning, in the end, that you're not going to put the case on and off -- you'll leave it on (which is just fine); the price is a bit dear -- $10-15 would be preferable to something this small. But if you can bite the price bullet, a nice product.

The clip player isn't well constructed and needs something to hold it together - this is it. It's a handy stretchable neoprene case, sort of a pain to put onto the player but OK once it's there, and a simple velcro armstrap. The clip hasn't fallen off the back of my player since I've started using it, but it's irksome that this accessory is needed and that it costs so much when it obviously costs no more than a couple of dollars to manufacture.

The item in the picture is not actually how it appears. The case is not attached to the armband like some mp3 armbands. The case that hold the sansa clip is actually separate from the armband. Then, you have to slide it into this thing that holds the case to the armband. The problem?...Case slips out and you can't access any of the buttons because this strap is covering the sansa player. I returned mine!

The only good thing about this is the armband. The case is a joke. It is the wrong size for the clip. The good thing is I only paid $6 instead if the original $20 price tag.

Received this in the mail last week, and agree that it is now affordable. I only use the armband with the player clipped into it, and so far so great. I did try the player in its case that DLO designed for it, but it seems to be that my big fingers dont like to make it work in the case. Maybe you can. Definitely worth the price of the armband alone as its own holder, and to keep it out of the way from being broken.

it does the job. Holds the player in place. I am a somewhat muscular person and it fits my arms with room to spare
