Thoughtful Design and Use,
By
This review is from: DLO Action Jacket for SanDisk Sansa e200 (Black) (Electronics)
DLO put some thought into the design however, they can imporove it a bit more.
Pro: You have to squeeze the player a bit into the case, which makes for a firm hold. The beltclip case has a clear plastic cover that allows the entire front surfice to be seen. It also has a cutout for the dial itself. Some adjustment may be needed to fit it, easy to do. It is also easy to get the cutout to fit the dial if the case is taken off and put back on. The clear plastic cover is thin enough to allow you to hit the bottons with little to no problem. the actual beltclip seems to be real sturdy, thick plastic and heavy spring. There is a hole for the microphone on the top. There is also print on the side to show where the Record button is located. As for the armband, again pretty well thought out. The beltclip of the case actually slides into an elastic loop on the armband, which is completely adjustable. It's not easy to get the beltclip out because of the hook on the boom of the belt clip. I would much rather have some trouble getting it out than have it come out too easy. Con: The beltclip case has the opening from the bottom with velcro. If for any reason the velcro doesn't hold, your player is a goner. Also, you must open the velcro in order to connect the charger cable, not a huge problem. No openinig for the Lock switch on the top. You must remove it from the case completely. Or If you have nails, you can squeeze the lock switch over from one side to another. If they place the velcro opening on the top and created an opening for the charger in the bottom. there would be no need to ever to take the player out of the case. I would also feel better knowing that it's secured from the top and not the bottom.

Not for the runner,

This review is from: DLO Action Jacket for SanDisk Sansa e200 (Black) (Electronics)
After finding a gazzilion different armbands on amazon I am unhappy that I bought this arm band in the store. The case makes it hard to operate the buttons. The wheel slips around in the case. The design is silly. The velcro closes on the bottom where you insert your player into the case so if it opens you are screwed. The armband is horrible. You need to use the belt clip to attatch it tot he band. It's flops around when running and sticks out to far. I am hoping the next band I orders is better and more of a lower profile. Hopefully the customer reviews were right.

I'm clumsy... my poor iPod has more scratches and dents than it should... why? Because I didn't buy a neoprene case for it soon enough. I didn't make that mistake with my great new Sansa e200.
I'm a fan of the DLO action jackets and this one is great too. It fits the product perfectly with the exception that you have don't have great access to the "hold" button on top... which with this machine as opposed to iPods, you don't really need. The wheel moves freely within the opening and the buttons are still easy to find even with the plastic cover over them. Best of all, it comes with two options for wearing it. There is a belt clip which tightly attaches to your belt, shirt, etc... or you can wear it on the Sansa e200 on your arm with the velcro armband. Overall, this product does exactly what it is supposed to while not hampering your ability to use the MP3 player.
