DLO put some thought into the design however, they can imporove it a bit more.

After finding a gazzilion different armbands on amazon I am unhappy that I bought this arm band in the store. The case makes it hard to operate the buttons. The wheel slips around in the case. DLO put some thought into the design however, they can imporove it a bit more.

Pro: You have to squeeze the player a bit into the case, which makes for a firm hold. The beltclip case has a clear plastic cover that allows the entire front surfice to be seen. It also has a cutout for the dial itself. Some adjustment may be needed to fit it, easy to do. It is also easy to get the cutout to fit the dial if the case is taken off and put back on. The clear plastic cover is thin enough to allow you to hit the bottons with little to no problem. the actual beltclip seems to be real sturdy, thick plastic and heavy spring. There is a hole for the microphone on the top. There is also print on the side to show where the Record button is located. As for the armband, again pretty well thought out. The beltclip of the case actually slides into an elastic loop on the armband, which is completely adjustable. It's not easy to get the beltclip out because of the hook on the boom of the belt clip. I would much rather have some trouble getting it out than have it come out too easy.

Con: The beltclip case has the opening from the bottom with velcro. If for any reason the velcro doesn't hold, your player is a goner. Also, you must open the velcro in order to connect the charger cable, not a huge problem. No openinig for the Lock switch on the top. You must remove it from the case completely. Or If you have nails, you can squeeze the lock switch over from one side to another.

If they place the velcro opening on the top and created an opening for the charger in the bottom. there would be no need to ever to take the player out of the case. I would also feel better knowing that it's secured from the top and not the bottom.

The design is silly. The velcro closes on the bottom where you insert your player into the case so if it opens you are screwed. The armband is horrible. You need to use the belt clip to attatch it tot he band. It's flops around when running and sticks out to far. I am hoping the next band I orders is better and more of a lower profile. Hopefully the customer reviews were right.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great way to keep your Sansa e200 safe!, May 14, 2007

I'm clumsy... my poor iPod has more scratches and dents than it should... why? Because I didn't buy a neoprene case for it soon enough. I didn't make that mistake with my great new Sansa e200.

I'm a fan of the DLO action jackets and this one is great too. It fits the product perfectly with the exception that you have don't have great access to the "hold" button on top... which with this machine as opposed to iPods, you don't really need. The wheel moves freely within the opening and the buttons are still easy to find even with the plastic cover over them.

Best of all, it comes with two options for wearing it. There is a belt clip which tightly attaches to your belt, shirt, etc... or you can wear it on the Sansa e200 on your arm with the velcro armband.

Overall, this product does exactly what it is supposed to while not hampering your ability to use the MP3 player.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not what I was originally expecting, August 16, 2007
This review is from: DLO Action Jacket for SanDisk Sansa e200 (Black) (Electronics)
The picture of the product is not the same as what you receive. It definitely will protect your player. I found the hole for the media dial to be a little small. I'm using it on the Rhapsody version player. I assume the regular series is the same size player. I cut out the bottom 1/4 of the protective front to have better access to the media dial. Mostly I just wanted my screen to be protected not the media dial. The clip on the back is not removable. The armband has a loop that slips over the clip. So the clip always stays on. Not to big of a deal. The player fits in the case nice, and tight. The velcro flap to close the player in is on the bottom of the player. You need to unvelcro the flap to connect your USB cable. So will see how long the velcro holds up. The lock slider is covered by the case material, but it is very easy to still move the lock slider without taking it out of the case. The lock location is marked on the case material so you don't have to guess where it is. A side from my front screen protector modification. It is not a perfect case, but it should definitely get the job done. I'm picky so I gave it three star rating. If the velcro was on the top of the player, and if they made the clip removable. I would have given it a four star rating. If they would have in addition made the media dial hole larger I would have given it a five star rating. Edit- They have now updated the image of the product. So the image is now accurate as of 8-20-07.

This is a combo Arm/Belt pseudo leather jacket/case for my Sandisk e260. I really have not tried the arm attachment yet. The belt option works so well I use it instead. I find no problem adjusting the controls with my e260 in the jacket. When I am at the gym running, weight lifting, even on the mat doing my abs excercises, the jacket stays put. Very good alligator clamp. Besides giving a secure non-slip clamp on my workout shorts, slacks belt, speedo swim suit, & the same for my boxers & briefs. As you can see the e260 and the DLO case follow me everywhere. I hardly remove the e260 from the case. There is no need.

2.0 out of 5 stars Non-Action Jacket would be a more apt description, April 25, 2007

The design on the armband is terrible. I wanted an armband for my player for running outdoors, and I received the DLO Action Jacket as a birthday present. While, yes, it does affix the player to your arm so you do not have to hold it, it is vastly inferior to products available for other players.

The Sansa Player fits into the action jacket, which has the belt clip attached (we'll not worry about the fact that there is no way to access the hold buttom, and that there is no cut out for the power button - finger nails have gouged a hole there in a matter of days). The belt clip then has to fit into a narrow sleeve on the adjustable armband. The result is an elevated profile, insecurely fastened, that is top heavy. As you run, the player flops around as you pump your arms, and the belt clip starts to pull the armband down (since all of the force of the player in concentrated on one point at the top of the band).

When you see what is available for iPods... the player is more firmly attached and is closer to the arm. I guess I'll have to wait for another generation of accessories before I get an armband that will get the job done.

I bought this item so that I could use the belt clip to hold my Sansa while I work out at the gym. It works exactly as expected. The Sansa is completely protected and fits perfectly in this jacket. The belt clip is perfect for clipping onto the waistband of any shorts/pants etc. It came with a band to put around your arm, but I've never tried it. I figure it is more comfortable to just have it on my waist. When I do cardio, I just set it on the machine. Good Product. Definately Recommeded.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great product, serves its purpose, but a little pricey., May 8, 2007

I purchased this action jacket as an accessory to go with my new Sansa e200 mp3 player. I bought the mp3 player mainly to take with me when I go walking, so I thought the action jacket would be perfect. It is really nice for when you go walking or running, because it's adjustable for your arm and it leaves you free to swing your arms without the earphone cord getting in the way. The jacket, however, is a little snug and I have trouble getting it out. It definitely serves its purpose, but I thought it was a little expensive. I would recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great accessory, June 7, 2007

This review is from: DLO Action Jacket for SanDisk Sansa e200 (Black) (Electronics)
This jacket fits the mp3 player quite snugly, which pretty much negates my main complaint: it slides in from the bottom. Although I guess it would be possible for the velcro fastener to come undone allowing the player to slide out while running, I highly doubt it would, since it fits so snugly.

Bottom line though, it's a great jacket for the Sansa e200 series. Perfect for running with or taking to the gym.

One note - it doesn't look quite like it does in the display photo. No biggie, but a little misleading.

This case does not work well for running or other vigorous activity. Case attaches to armband with belt clip, the result is high profile and unstable and looks way un-cool overall. Maybe not bad to use with the belt clip while walking. Adds a lot of bulk to what is already a bulky player. Note that case does not look like the main photo on Amazon.
