Let me get the downside out of the way first. The cable on this item is a little thin for my taste. Don't get me wrong, it is not a thread, but I definitely could use a thicker insulation, better yet, thicker gauge wire (but i have not torn it open to confirm gauge)

On the good side. I love the base unit. You can transport it so comfortably because the 110V prongs fold down snugly and flat. I had no trouble extending prongs again, but it is not loose once erect (can I say that, erect? :).

I also love the attractive ROUND curves and smooth edges. It looks and feels expensive, but is not. And then the beautiful blue LED light. Oh my goodness. It is fun just keeping it plugged in the outlet without the cord.

Overall I am very pleased with it.
