This is the second DLO leather iPod case I've purchased. A while back, I bought the DLO HipCase Leather Folio Case for 80/120/160 GB iPod classic 6G (Black) for my oldest son's iPod Classic. He loved it then, and it's still going strong two-and-a-half years later. So when my youngest son got his first iPod Touch, I went looking for a DLO HipCase Leather Folio Case for it. I was ecstatic to find this case! It offers excellent protection for the entire iPod and doesn't require the ridiculous "installation" effort that so many cases require these days. You just slip the iPod Touch into the case, and you're good to do. The padded case protects the front, back, and sides of the iPod, and allows all ports to be accessed. The leather cover--with a nice magnetic closure--flips open so you can access your iPod and easily use it while it's still in the case. The belt clip lets you clip the case to your belt or pocket, but isn't so bulky that it prevents you from comfortably putting the case into your pocket. And the best part? The iPod is easily removed from the DLO case so you can use it with an alarm clock/speaker/charging dock. A lot of other cases prevent you from using your iPod with a dock because of their bulk. You have to remove the iPod from the case in order to dock it. Then put the case back on when you're done. For many cases, that's a time-consuming, frustrating process. With the DLO HipCase, it's a breeze! Aside from being very functional, this case has a very simple, classic style to it. Granted, it's not neon green with funky textures on it. But there's nothing wrong with conservative, is there? It's also reasonably priced. If I didn't know how much I paid for it, I would've guessed it cost at least twice as much as it does. Bottom line: Great functionality, great protection, and my 15-year-old son loves it. I call that a major win. The DLO HipCase Leather Folio is the perfect companion to the iPod Touch!

Great case, and it works with the ipod touch 4g. I wanted a case like this for the new ipod, but I couldn't find one. Therefore, I bought this one taking a gamble. I put a TPU flex skin on my new ipod and crossed my fingers. To my (not) surprise my gamble paid off, it fit snug as a bug in this DLO HipCase. Without a TPU skin, the ipod still fits, but I the skin does help it stay more snug.

Also, for everyone complaining about the magnets, I have no idea what they are talking about. I've had no issues with the magnets affecting my ipod, which makes sense because their pretty weak magnets. They will hold the flap down, but if you give it a good jerk the flap will pop right up. So, don't worry about the magnets being too strong. I'm guess those people either had malfunctioning ipods or sometime of super DLO HipCase with extra magnetic power.

I agree with everyone that it would be nice if the belt clip was removable. If you'll never use it on your belt, you can remove it the old fashion way, but of course its a permanent removal ;)

As a final note, you can use the flap as an arm to hold the ipod standing vertically up. Not an intentional feature, but nice.

Received just in time to protect my new ipod touch. Great purchase. The ipod touch fits perfectly in the case. Very pleased with this purchase. PS...if you have a stylus it should fit in the pocket if you slant it to the side.

This product has worked out great. I can carry it in my purse or clip it on my hip. It also gives my ipod the protection it needs. I've dropped it a couple of times when walking away from my desk. No problems.

Mine has lasted almost a year with no damage to it or my ITouch.

The only thing I would say is make the clip removable, or make a model without it. It makes it too thick to fit easily inside a pocket.

The surround to the screen could be a little wider, as it is difficult to type edge buttons when your finger touches the surround.

But I recommend it, even with these fairly minor issues it's still a very nice product and far better than anything else I've tried.

This is the perfect case for my iTouch! It's slim, fits well in my pocket, has a strong magnet clasp, and has a slim sturdy clip. Also, it doesn't cover the edges of the touch screen like people have reported for many cases.

I purchases this hipcase last August. It is very well made and sturdy. I attach it to my belt on the side of my body, and my iPod Touch is in a vertical position. The problem is that when I sit, the hipcase sometimes slides up and detaches from my belt. This has happened several times. Last week while on vacation, the hipcase slid off in a public area of a hotel. I did not notice that I was missing it until I returned to my room. I immediately hurried downstairs, and fortunately my hipcase and 64 GB iPod touch were in plain sight on the floor. I was fortunate to retrieve it. If you purchase this product please be careful using it.

I bought this case for my iPod touch (3rd gen) and it works perfect. I didn't like the velcro cases and the magnet system on this case is much easier and a lot less hassle to use. Only downside is that it prevents you from getting to the far edges of the screen, but it's more of a slight annoyance then a true problem. All in all a very good case for a very good price.

It keeps the ipod safe and enclosed while carrying it. the belt clip is tighter than I would like but I won't complain because belt clips for other products were lose enough for whatever I was carrying to fall. This has given me a renewed trust in belt clips. The magnetic closures work well. easy to get ipod in and out. I recommend this.
