I purchased this in black for my 1st gen. iphone three years ago and its been on my phone ever since. Today I also purchased a pink one because I'm very satisfied with this product.

Pros:
->The corners have extra protection and have kept my phone VERY safe from drops
->Durable
->Provides cord management
->The no-slip silicone has retained its integrity and has prevented many close-call drops/slips
->Aesthetically pleasing (to me)
->The cord management feature adds a little girth to the back of the iphone making it more comfortable in my hand when I am on a call *It also provides added protection if dropped
-> It still has a tight/like new fit on my phone

Cons:
->The cutout slots on the cord management feature stretch-out a little and do not hold the earpieces as well after about 40 uses
-> Aesthetically the girth of the cord management feature may displease some
-> The girth of the cord management can make for a tighter fit into small clutch purses and some pockets

the place to put the ear buds stretched out within one week. would not buy again.

After a few months the silicone loses its integrity and the jacket slips. The sensor gets covered confusing this little tiny machine. It does not know when to turn off and turns off when it should not. However, all you need is a pair of tiny scissors to remove a section that covers the sensor and you are back in business.

I purchased the black jam jacket two years ago with my iphone. I love this product!
I bought the pink 1 to change up and the product is worth every penny! A jam jacket
is needed for any phone you own. I've dropped my i phone several times and this jam
protected it for two years, A MUST HAVE! :)

Great fit and finish with this case, the headphone holder is a nice plus but can get annoying at times as it makes the phone thicker than it already is.

This product is a great protection device for your iPhone. However, I have not had any luck with the ear buds staying in the designated spot on the back. Other than well, it is well-crafted.

The cable management systems is very good, but the silicone is so weak that it covers up the light sensor and the iPhone stays off when you take it away from the ear.

This is a great cover to protect your Iphone. The cord management works really good and keeps me from stuffing my earphones in my pocket or the bottom of my purse. It's easy to push the bottom of the case up so that you can charge your phone on the dock without totally removing the cover. All of the inputs and sensors and such are easily accessible. The only thing that I would change would be to make the cord management thing on the back double as a belt clip. Overall it's a good cover and protects the phone.
Update 12/08-The case is still working okay, but the silicone has not stayed tight, it is kind of loose and sloppy now, and it often covers the sensor that allows you to end a call when you take the phone away from your ear. It's still okay, but doesn't hold up well over time. I would change my star rating to 3.
