I really like this case. It has exceptional fit and finish. All the openings are cut perfectly, precisely outlining the screen, wheel, and connectors. I have one on my 60 GB, my wife on a 30. Neither of us has seen the scratching problem reported by other reviewers, but we usually leave the case on. The only down side is the fixed belt clip on the back. It takes up extra space when I'm not using the clip.

This DLO iPod case is clean, sleak, and well made for the money. With the 60 GB G5 video iPod, the case is snug and tight. IMO, this case is designed to be left on the iPod 24/7. The openings for docking and 1/8" stereo jack were cut correctly and provided good access to iPod. The 2.5" screen slot covers nicely without covering edges of screen. There is no transparent plastic cover for wheel or screen in that the flip covers and protects iPod but allows normal viewing and use of scroll wheel and button.

I only gave it 4 stars because I would have liked a swivel, rotatable, and detachable belt clip; and the "slot" to put business cards, CC's, and/or cash is limited. Anything more than 5 business cards and the flap does not stay closed. One folded $20 bill or a few business cards are fine because well, I guess, it's not really a wallet.

I bought this case at CompUSA for more that what is being offered at Amazon. Even at the retail price, I still say it should be worth more. It's that good! The leather is sturdy, with a soft interior; I've pulled my iPod out of the case a number of times just to see the condition and not one single scratch was on the black face or chrome back. The case fits my 30 GB 5.5 gen iPod like a glove (I'm not exaggerating!). In the two months I've had the case, the stitching has not shown any signs of unraveling. The cover is semi-hard (possibly cardboard inside?) and protects the screen and clickwheel well, while the embedded magnet keeps the cover from flapping around. There's also a good size opening in the top of the cover for the headphone jack, however this works best for the headphones with a L-shape jack, not the straight one that Apple's earbuds come with, so the cover can flip all the way back freely. No hole for the hold switch, though. The opening at the bottom for the dock connector is wide enough and presents no problems in connection, unlike some cases I've seen. The fixed belt clip is extremely sturdy and, with normal use, shows no sign of wear. Back to the cover, I even use it to support the iPod to standing position, with any object in back to keep it from slipping, for comfortable video viewing. It even has a small pouch inside the cover for a few business cards or a small optic cleaning cloth (recommended for the screen).

If you're the mega-active type that rollerblades, skateboards and/or climbs mountains and such, you may want a sturdier case than this. But for normal to semi-active people (hiking, running and other activities), this case is a fantastic value for the money. I couldn't be happier with it!

I have had this case for a year and a few months. I shopped for months before ordering my new black 60 GB iPod and this was the only case I found that would not scratch my iPod taking it in and out. For black iPods this is especially good because they show every tiny little scratch on them. I coupled it with clear thin removable protectors that fit on the back of the iPod..and over the front and a separate one over the click wheel. The case fits snug and keeps the iPod in without sliding, yet is it is still easy to remove from the case if you need to. It also does not pull off the clear protectors I have put on it when I take it in or out. It's one of the more expensive cases out there but it is worth the money. It has held up for over a year and still looks like new despite it being carried in my backpack or my purse and despite having the iPod taken in and out of it constantly. The leather is very soft and the magnetic clasp to close the case has held up remarkably well. My only complaints are that you cannot dock the iPod on your speakers or docking station with this case on and that the belt clip is not removable/swivel. Some other colors to choose from would also be nice. However, even with the belt clip on the back, the case is still not bulky. It is thin and lightweight without being flimsy.

Excellent leather case for your iPod 30 GB, 60 GB and 80 GB MP3 player. Keep in mind that the 80 GB is the same size as the 60 GB.

Black goes with everything.

Clip is very comfortable against the skin. (Unlike my cell phone's clip that digs into my skin).

There are two openings (holes) for the iPod's USB cable and earphone jack. No hole for the HOLD button, which is NOT necessary as this function isn't used a lot. One can simply open that flap and select HOLD if needed.

Another good feature on this case if that there is an area for your business cards (or calling cards). Or you may wish to place a credit card or membership card depending on where you happen to be going with your iPod on a given day.

I just received this yesterday and I have already loved it. Very soft leather and yet very protective to your ipod. It looks great with my iPod U2 video, with the red controller :-)

It has a magnet close feeling and also have a clip attached. Nicely done!

This case is still...STILL...going strong. The magnet in the lid is strong and stays attached to the case. The belt clip is solid and sturdy. There has been a little wear and tear around the edges...but almost two years later, this case still protects my iPod. Amazing.

Impressive is my one-word summary for this product.

The PodFolio is an exceptional case that provides both protection and style. The leather case is sturdy and the belt-clip has now survived about 4000 insert/removals onto my belt. The flip-top lid protects the screen well. The PodFolio has a slot for connection to a USB cable and a hole on the top for the ear buds.

An impressive, well-designed product.

This is a great product!! The leather is ultra luxurious and soft..Also the stitching is perfectly straight! It fits my iPod Classic 80gb perfectly!!! I usually buy DLO cases becaause of this...and have never been disappointed. This item was $36 at my local Best Buy...I paid $19 for it here...If you are looking for a case..look no further...This is it!!

This is a really great Ipod case; here's what I like about it the most:

1. The iPod will never fall out!
The case has such a snug fit on the iPod that the iPod will never fall out--ever! I trust this case so much that I throw it around all the time and know the iPod will never fall out.

2. It keeps the iPod clean.
I don't see any dust or anything else on my iPod. In fact, the leather conceals the iPod so greatly that I can't even see the iPod itself--all I see is the screen and buttons.

3. The clip is GREAT!
So I've boughten PLENTY of items with cheap clips. This product has the best clip I've ever seen. It's covered with the same leather material of the case itself, and it's really durable! I can run, jump, ski or hike with the iPod clipped to my jeans. It's really great!

4. GREAT flip cover!
The flip cover is amazing! There's some sort of magnetic thing that keeps it closed--it NEVER opens unless YOU open it yourself! It's really padded, too, so the screen will NEVER be damaged.

Very nicely crafted and stylish case. Fits my 30gb iPod perfectly. Buy one of these. A worthwhile investment to protect your unit and looks good doing it.
