This case is highly reviewed elsewhere (see iLounge.com) and deservedly so. Here's why:

1. The stand works quite well (portrait and landscape) and is valuable for an iTouch...you will want to set it down for one reason or another while it's on.

2. The screen protector is simple to apply (but the company provides no instructions...google that for help), requires no adhesive, finger-prints wipe off easily, and it is mildly anti-reflective. I have had no problems with bubbles. Oh, and it doesn't scratch with regular wipe-downs.

3. I like to see the chrome finish on the back of the iTouch through the clear case... so clear is good for me.

4. It adds only minor bulk and weight.

5. Fair price. Replace if needed even in a recession.

Now for the cons:

1. Don't drop it! This case may not break open and spill the iTouch when dropped (like other clear plastics) but shock absorbance is not it's strength. Not water resistant either.

2. Can't dock it while in the case. I haven't checked for adapters because I don't need this functionality.

3. Dust will collect a little under the top edges of the case but not in the device itself.

If this was an iPhone and I was wearing it on my belt I would not use this case. For an iTouch it is excellent (if you are careful) and I recommend it.

This is a fantastic case, on par with the iClear. Picked this one over the iClear because of the stand, works great horizontally, but I find the stand doesn't hold up when trying to use it vertically. The openings do allow for some debris to enter the case.

Arrived promptly. Quite pleased with the functionality. It does have a tendancy to come apart when dropped. I like the way the stand works

Do not buy this. It's a peice of junk. It wont even stay toghther. cheap plastic. My dad bought the same case a few years back and it worked very well but this one is worthless. I want a refund......

This case looks great and does not add much bulk and weight. I highly recommend it. The stand on this case is also a great feature, although i am not sure how well it will protect your ipod. I very careful with my ipod and haven't had a opportunity to see if the case would hold up well against cracks so its something to consider that if your looking for great protection this case might not be for you for i personally believe that the hard plastic will not be a good shock absorber.

The product that was shipped is a clear plastic case that does not have the cutouts for the light sensor or the home button as some of the pictures may indicate. I think that may be a different product, or for fitment on the newest iPod Touch. The correct product is pictured, and the plastic case simply wraps around just the perimeter on the front of the iPod with cutouts for the side buttons and the connectors on the bottom.

This is exactly the product I was looking for: slim, clear, and with the added bonus of the dual-function kickstand (vertical and horizontal use). The fit isn't super-tight, but it fits well on the iPod with very little movement. The best part is that the price is right to replace the case if it ever gets damaged (looking at you kick-stand).

I bought this case after reading a great review on iLounge. Taking their advice I bought the case and haven't been disappointed. It is very durable, has a low-profile, and the stand in the back is a very nice touch for my touch!

Bought this case for my 2G iPod touch because it was on sale.

I subsequently bought a second, more expensive one to replace it.

Reason: while the case itself is not bad, though a little loose, the screen protectors I received with it were dirty and gooey, so they did not work on the screen. Additionally the kickstand on the back becomes loose after repeated use and slips around a lot.

The biggest beef I had with the case is its screen protectors, but otherwise it works as described and protects the iPod, allowing ample access to the ports and button on the iPod's side.

I would suggest another case if you are looking at this one. Specifically Marware SportShell Convertible for iPod touch 2G, 3G (Black)

I love using my Touch as a video player and the kickstand on this hard case makes video play oh so much nicer. If you've never had a hard shell, get one, even if it's not this one. One drop if your device could pay for the shell alone.

The case is sturdy and has a tight fit with the iPod Touch. The openings in the back of the case due to the existence of the stand creates some marks on the back of the iPod. The protective screen does its job (protects the screen from scratches), but the protection film itself gets scratches easily (not serious ones, but visible).

My roommate with a $30 Paul Frank case and a $14 screen protector that guarantees no scratches will definitely have a more well-protected iPod Touch than mine, but for this price (>$10 with the shipping), I think I won the bargain game.
