I purchased the DM 6000 laser hair removal machine March 5th, 2012. I recieved the equipment on time. I must admit, when I pulled everything out of the box and saw the machine, I was intimidated by the looks of everything. I read the instructiuons over and over, I was scared to try it out. I put everything back in the box. I finally, decided to just go slow with it, and try it out. It had a piece of carbon paper in with it, to test the equipment out. I did not wax or shave any hair, like the instructions said to do for best results, before using it. I just put the dye on and after it dried I put the cooling gel over the dye and used the equipment. I was still nervous when I used it the first time. I just followed the instructions. The instructions tell you what to expect. I did feel heat in the areas I used it on. After using it, I felt like I had a sun burn, but that went away a couple hours later. I used regular alcohol to take the dye off, then I put aloe vera gel on the area I used the laser on. I must say, it was not as hard as I thought it would be, to use it. I am impressed with the results. I have only used the machine 2xs, 1x every other week, and I can tell a big difference with the facial hair I had.... Yes, I said "had!" Everything I used it on, has thinned out and almost completely gone. I would recommend this product to anyone. Just read and follow the instructions carefully, so you keep the machine in proper working order.

I bought this item for home use, to do underarm and bikini area. To start with I have had professional laser hair removal done, so I do have some knowledge of what the product should do. First the instruction, before you start you will need to remove the hair from the area. They suggest tweezers or waxing, then you apply the charcoal dye to your area. The laser is intermittent and only a 1/4 inch wide area is treated at a time, they suggest 10 seconds on each area. I worked very hard on an underarm (this is very slow with only a 1/4 inch) sadly it doesn't really do anything to remove the thicker dark hair. I had no burning or even pink skin after. But it did seem to kill off some thin soft white hairs, the charcoal dye aided in that. Unfortunately it didn't do anything to the underarm, or bikini hair that I bought the Laser to remove. The cost for this machine $399. the cost of professional laser hair removal on my underarms $300. 5 treatments. If it had worked it would have been great, but it really doesn't do what I bought it for. I am thinking of purchasing the SDL60 model to find out if the results are up to a professional level, the cost is prohibitive at $1699. hard to justify comparing it to the cost of having it done at a salon.

This was recalled in Europe for being an eye and shock hazard! Only a matter of time before the US Consumer Product Safety Commission is after this company! Don't risk getting blinded or electrocuted, this company has no idea how to design a safe product.
