When I purchased this item I was expecting it to be full skeins of floss. No where in the description did it say that it wasn't. When I opened it, I found it only had half skeins of floss. It made it more expensive than buying it in my local store. I wouldn't suggest anyone buying this. Go to your local store.

This is a box of 24 skeins of the exact same DMC product you can purchase from Michaels or AC Moore or any other craft store in the country! Except they're charging $.54 per skein instead of the $.35 to $.39 other stores charge.
There are also 'free' patterns but you can probably get similar free downloads from the DMC web page.
DMC IS high quality but why would I pay an extra $.15 to $.20 per skein for something I can pick out myself in person?

The colors
I really liked the mellow colors presented in this package. I don't care for bright and standing out colors so this was just what I was looking for.

Beautiful colors
