Turn your garage, den, or basement into party central without sacrificing your design aesthetic with this attractive bristle dart board set. The board, which comes housed in a solid oak cabinet, is made of a high-grade, "self-healing" sisal that looks smooth and lasts for years. Scoring is handled by the pair of chalk scoreboards--one on the inside of each door--that make it easy to tally scores for several players at once. And below each chalkboard sits a shelf that holds a single set of brass darts (included), so you needn't worry about misplacing the darts between games. It's the oak cabinet that really stands out, however, thanks to its durable finger-joint construction and light oak finish.

The cabinet not only hides your board from view when you're not playing and protects your wall from errant darts when you are, but also looks great amidst both traditional and modern furnishings. The cabinet, which measures 18.5 by 20 by 2.5 inches (W x H x D) when closed, is covered by a one-year warranty against defects.

Customer Reviews

The darts were too light and fell out of the dart board when thrown.

My boys had a great time, a great many people came over, it was used constantly, AND I got an entire room out of the deal, which is pretty freakin' sweet.

Furthermore, when I got the set all of the chalk was broken, and even one of the wooden dart holders had fallen off of the cabinet.

I've played at least a hundred games on this dartboard so far, and I'll say it's a decent deal, but I'd only recommend it to occasional players.

Pros:
-Sisal bristle board is good quality; colors line up with wires
-Board has no-staple bullseye to reduce bounce-outs (but is not staple-free elsewhere)
-Board looks OK from the outside, matches your Ikea furniture
-Came with all necessary mounting hardware
-All-in-one dart solution; comes with everything you need to start playing, including chalk

Cons:
-Mine arrived with a small blemish on the front fake-wood finish
-Overall build quality is mediocre, with parts not lining up, and doors of slightly different sizes
-Staples in the triple ring and generally thick wires contribute to bounce-outs
-The darts, chalk, and tiny eraser that come with the board are of low quality; you will want to replace all of these after a few dozen games
-No cork or felt backing behind the board to soften near-misses

Conclusion:
If you're an occasional player looking for an affordable dart station, this will satisfy (and if you have Ikea furniture, it will match too). However, if you think you'll be playing a lot of games, buy the components separately from the start (staple-free board, tungsten darts, solid wood case).

It's funny how manufacturers can get away with using these types of statements talking about their junk. "solid oak cabinet" "It's the oak cabinet that really stands out, however, thanks to its durable finger-joint construction and light oak finish"

The oak finish this description is refering to a a glued on vinyl cover that looks like solid oak. It's poorly glued on and the vinyl "crinkles" up were it is stretched over the edges of the doors.

JUNK

Very good board. reasonable quality darts included.
Easy to attach and hang with enclosed hardware. The numbers on the calkboard are for some reason very small, but adequate. The case looks pretty good, but is NOT solid wood...composite with veneer.

My boys had asked for a regulation dartboard ("in a cabinet, with, like, chalkboards and everything, Mom") for Christmas, so I did some researching and I REALLY appreciate all of the consumer comments here on Amazon, I really do. You guys are great. This turned out to be such a hit, that my boys actually cleaned out, unpacked, and fixed up an ENTIRE ROOM just so they'd have somewhere to hang their dart board. Comments:

-As some consumers have noted, the cabinet is not super high-quality; it does have a paper oak veneer. However, knowing this in advance was fine.
-The dart board IS high quality. I think you can (and should) get the board by itself if you have issues with the cabinet.
-The cabinet is particle-board, so it can get dented AND it can get chipped rather easily if clipped by a wild dart (which happened a lot, especially if it had been me flinging the darts)
-My son (who assembled it, I didn't) said it required 4 screws (2 pairs of different kinds) and that it had four of one screw and not two of each
-He had trouble getting it assembled, and says that the dart board "hangs" loosely in its cabinet rather than being fixed in place. I'm not sure if that's the way it's supposed to be or not.
-The darts that come with this set are fine for beginners. I was surprised to find out my sons were NOT beginners (they never tell me anything). A dart in MY hand turns me into a general Menace To Society and I'd just fling the dart at the board, pointy-side first, and they'd stick (or not). However, the boys did point out that these darts had more "bounce outs" than better darts.

So far it's holding up really well. The cabinet quality is OK - better than expected really - and the dart board quality seems plenty good. Also the darts that came with it are fine for family fun and have held up to pretty heavy use these past two weeks when everyone was home from school. Pleased with the purchase and our college grandson really likes it and plans to put it up in his apartment (if he can get it away from his dad).

I bought this for my husband for father's day. We have really enjoyed it. The darts that come with it are not great but if you play darts a lot you would probably want to buy a good set anyway. Overall, this is a great deal for the money. I would buy it again.

Two of the darts sent in this package were broken. The tips of these darts would no longer stick back inside of the dart. Furthermore, when I got the set all of the chalk was broken, and even one of the wooden dart holders had fallen off of the cabinet. I would have rated this 5 stars if everything came fixed, however, the products are simply cheap and broken. Not satisfied.
