Very good board. reasonable quality darts included.
Easy to attach and hang with enclosed hardware. The numbers on the calkboard are for some reason very small, but adequate. The case looks pretty good, but is NOT solid wood...composite with veneer.

It's funny how manufacturers can get away with using these types of statements talking about their junk. "solid oak cabinet" "It's the oak cabinet that really stands out, however, thanks to its durable finger-joint construction and light oak finish"

The oak finish this description is refering to a a glued on vinyl cover that looks like solid oak. It's poorly glued on and the vinyl "crinkles" up were it is stretched over the edges of the doors.

Hi there all you dart throwing fans. I just purchased the DMI Bristol Dart Board in a Oak Finish Cabinet.
I had been on line and at local store's searching for about 3 months looking for the best deal. I finally found this one and several others on Amazon.com. This particular one is $100.00. Just enter the name of the board and you will go right to it, and others.
About the board. There is nothing cheap about this product. The Cabinet is definatly rugged, and looks great on my pantry wall, (thats where we play darts).
It is real easy to put up...they provide you with wall anchors and instructions to follow....very simple. The board itself is a self healing board and is about 2" thick. The colors and layout of the board are all right there, just as you would expect them to be. There is a slate score board on each door with Cricket numbers already on it. Perfect for teams or singles. Each door also has a dart holder and comes with darts. There is also a groove in the bottom of the cabinet to hold chalk for your scoring.
So.....for me and my budget, this was a great bullseye, and I recomend this board to any one that is still looking.

I purchased this DMI board product code CABSETPL with the cherry wood.

First thing I noticed was some smeared touch up paint used on one of the cabinet doors (not a big deal on an $80 set). The inside board did not look too impressive, but I did not expect it to.

I was able to handle the previously mentioned quality issues, but the bracket meant to hold the board in the cabinet did not have the screw holes shown in the instructions . . . I could not even mount the board to the cabinet.

When I called DMI customer service they found that surprising and asked if I could just return the board to the store and get another. The store is 45 minutes away from where I live. I asked if they could mail me a new bracket and gave them my address, she told me she would see what she could do. When I asked if I could get some sort of discount if I purchased better darts I was told to ask the store I bought the board through since I did not exchange money with DMI.

I am going to make the round trip hour and a half drive to return the $80 board and then order another brand based on Amazon reviews. It is probably not worth the time and gas I am spending on it since they will likely mail me a new bracket, but it would upset my principles to give them any money for this product.

It was a mistake to make an impulse buy without doing my usual Amazon.com research.

After playing a few times the darts have stopped sticking. not sure if its a problem with the bristle board or the darts that came with it. Its actually kind of dangerous because every time you throw one it bounces back and could hurt someone pretty bad.
