Crusher has smooth surface so pills don't get stuck in teeth like groves like some crushers have. If pill is bigger than an aspirin, recommend trying to break in half 1st since it may crack if you turn to hard, otherwise a handy thing to have.

This product does crush the medicine however with the rough interior bottom, the medicine does not want to come out. It is virtually impossible to get all of the medicine out of the spikey bottom.
