This is the BOMB for blade sharpening. Electric sharpeners dont hold a candle to this. HIGHLY recommend it!

The DMT key chain sharpener is honestly one of the best sharpening products that I've ever purchased. While it isn't the highest quality, most effective sharpening tool on the market, it's sleek design and price make it a formidable foe for other portable sharpening competition.

- Perfect for quick touch ups on plain edge knives and tools.
- Compact design for easy carry in your pocket, on your keyring, in a toolbox or in a purse.
- The ability to fold the sharpener up helps to protect any other objects you may have in your pockets/toolbox/purse from getting scratched up.
- A few drops of water and a minute or two can with this can give you a very sharp edge. (for even finer edges check out the extra fine grit model)
- Not the highest quality or best sharpener out there, but for the price, it CANNOT be beat.

This is perfect for touch-up jobs on the blade, or for a finer finish after you use a coarse stone. Bought it at sears for about $5 more, you might as well pick it up here.

The fine grade sharpener is ideal for touching up blades. Very handy to reapply edge at work site. Size is perfect for the working person who require a sharp edge.

Great sharpener, I keep it in my toolbox for work, saves my razor knife blades. Works great on my pocket knifes too, as I use both types, at work. Buy this item, and you'll be very pleased.

First sharpener that I could make work without a major operation. Put on a couple drops of watter and it brings the blade back to life. Best to get the fine and coarse for really dull knives. Not as good as a professional sharpening but 90% is OK for me.

I bought it as a stocking stuffer for my husband and he reports that it works great! He's a guy's guy and a carpenter, so I trust =tat he would really know if it was useful or not.

This sharpener worked pretty well at first, but after a while, it looses some of sharpening capabilities. Seems to get a little dull. The size of the stone is a little small as well. You cant get a good angle on it to sharpen your whole blade. Though its too small to sharpen on, its way too big for a keychain. I have since moved on to bigger and better stones, and use this one for camping. I now normally keep this one with my collection of smaller sized knifes and works well with those.

This is the little brother of the DMT diafold. Very light and small. I keep one on my keychain. The extended length when open, is an aid to keeping a constant angle. I have never had one come apart but I suspect they are not as durable as the diafold and are not available two sided (two different grits) which of course, would be heavier. Mine seem to be rust resistant for use with water to wash away metal dust which would otherwise accumulate on the surface. These Mini Sharps are not for any work heavier than edge maintenance.
