Would you expect that free shipping means to the street in front of your house? With a rain storm in the forecast, a semi-truck pulled up in front of my home with one "deliverer" whe refused to even get out of the cab to bring the items to the hydralic lift and lower it to ground level. Only after extensive attempts at reason did the driver agree to lower the items to the street. I come home to find over 400 pounds of $2,000 office furniture left on the front side walk with my husband and 6 month old sitting on the stairs in front of our home!!!
We were totally left in a lurch as to how to get such unweildy items from the street into our home.
Free Shipping was a major sales point on this item.
Give me break!
I would hope that Amazon would make sure that items are shipped safely - meaning out of the elements and at least through the front door of a person's home~!
