This review is from: DNA Arrays: Methods and Protocols (Methods in Molecular Biology) (Hardcover)
The individual articles are fine in this collection but there is no singular focus. The collection skews more potential applications than lab practicals. You'll want to look through the table of contents to determine whether you need a particular chapter(s) before getting this book.I like Schena's MICROARRAY BIOCHIP TECHNIQUES somewhat better as a broad overview for beginners. Although there is some redundancy, at least the reader can compare slightly different approaches to the basics. |
