About the Author

The author recently retired as Distinguished Teaching Professor of Biology at the State University of New York-Farmingdale. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Microbiology and the author of several textbooks, including Fundamentals of Microbiology (now in its 6th edition), AIDS: The BiologicalBasis, Anatomy and Physiology The Easy Way, and the Microbiology, Biology, and Anatomy and Physiology Coloring Books.

I am a graduate student in Taiwan. My advisor showed me the book and I bought the second edition. When I read it, I found it is good to my research in the field of biotechnology. Although I am still a novice in this area, this book is really helpful to me.
