This review is from: DOCTRINAL COMMENTARY ON THE BOOK OF MORMON (4 VOL. SET) I-IV (Paperback)
I bought these in preparation for teaching Pathways. I am a Nibley fan but am familiar with Bros. Millet and McConkie from the BYU discussion series. They approach the BOM from an entirely different direction than the late great Nibley in that they are focusing on the spiritual. No surprises but a few statements that made me sit back and muse that it was a point I had not considered. If you have ever heard either of these BYU Religion profs speak, you will easily identify their writing. Well worth the time and the price beats the hardcover version. |
