David M. Masters, along with his wife, Shelley Masters began helping other dieters struggling with, Serial Dieting, the compulsion to try one diet after another in an attempt to achieve lasting results to no avail. Together, the Masters had lost thousands of pounds via various diets, only to see the pounds come rolling back with a few extra pounds within months.

Their support system was launched via the Internet in 2000. By 2002, Weight Loss Coaches, David and Shelley Masters, had developed what later became The Don't Diet-or-Exercise System. The system adopted by over 2,000 individuals with exemplary weight loss results over the next five years was proven. For the first time, other serial dieters were set-free from the vicious cycle of dieting, while maintaining continued weight loss and maintenance. Don't let the title fool you...there is some good information in here, but if you buy the book thinking you don't have to monitor your calorie intake (even recommends you use a eating diary to track your food), and start moving more to expend stored body fat, you will be wasting your money. When he says you don't have to exercise, but recommends you increase your walking to 10,000 steps per day AND when he says you can lose weight while watching tv...IF you'll pull out that old treadmill, or stationary bike, or purchase a rebounder (a tiny trampoline) and jump up and down on it WHILE watching...as a certified personal trainer, I'd pretty much have to call those things exercise. As I said in the beginning, there's some good sound info in there, but don't think you will be able to lose weight without moving more and monitoring your food intake.
