I wish it would just turn off.

It seems secure enough, I don't worry about it falling off, but the mirror does vibrate a little more than the stock mirror.

The video display is very good, however, the mirror is very poor quality.

I could only find one review and very little info on this product, but I took a risk and bought it anyways.

Overall, I'm happy with my decision. The product seems to be good quality and works very well. Installation instructions are lacking, but if you have a basic understanding of how to install a car stereo, you should be able to install it. The camera is a flush mount bullet-style camera with three spacers to either install the unit flush or at an slight angle (maybe 20 degrees). You'll have to cut a one inch hole to mount it; there is no surface mount hardware supplied. You'll appreciate the angled spacers if you have to compensate for a less-than vertical mounting location. Due to the angle, I struggled with installing it in the bottom, black portion of my Sienna's bumper. I really had to angle it upward to see more of the area behind me, and less of the pavement. The supplied cables were sufficiently long enough for installation in my 08 Sienna minivan. I tied into a wiring harness above the subwoofer housing, on the drivers-side of the rear quarter panel. Look for a red wire with a black line.

The display unit mounts on top of your existing rear-view mirror with spring loaded arms. It seems secure enough, I don't worry about it falling off, but the mirror does vibrate a little more than the stock mirror. More concerning is the size of the mirror itself. Total length is 12 inches, with 4.5 inches used for the back-up camera. The mirror is clear but it has a very slight fish-eye effect. It is so slight; my wife didn't notice it until I pointed it out. It's noticeable when you intentionally move your head side-to-side while looking in the mirror. I guess it's to compensate for the decreased size of the mirror over the stock mirror.

It works good and I like it but I have a few comments.
The instructions say to connect the green wire to the reversing lamps (the wire in my kit was blue). I don't know what it is for because when I applied power to it, the only thing it did was toggle the screen view between camera 1 and camera 2. I left it loose.
They say to wire the device so that the screen is always on with key power, and the camera is only on when in reverse gear. After shifting, there is a one-second delay before the picture appears. This is not too bad but with the camera off, the screen is an annoying bright blue. It can be left off until needed by wiring it into the reverse circuit along with the camera, but when powering up, there is a 4-second delay before there is a picture. This is too long for me to wait after having shifted and am ready to go. So, I wired both the screen and the camera to be powered when the key is turned on. This gives plenty of time to get a picture before I start to back up. The screen is never blue and I have vision behind me in any gear. When I am through wanting to see behind me, I simply touch the power button and the screen goes black. Another touch brings back the view after only a 1-second delay.
The mirror is plastic which does not give a glass-quality image but it keeps the weight down so the display has less tendency to tilt down when driving over bumps.

This product works fine. I had it professionally installed on the back of a Toyota Tundra by the Geeks and have no functionality issues. Some things I like:
1. The monitor and rear-view mirror are separated (monitor on left, mirror on right), but housed in the same body.
2. The color image is sharp.
3. Distance markers are overlayed on the display
4. The night view is a quality infra-red image.

Things I don't like:
1. The rear view mirror is not glass, so the view can be distorted if the housing is tweeked.
2. When you shift out of reverse, the monitor goes to blue-screen. I wish it would just turn off.
3. Make sure the installer connects the camera to the right input (there are two: AV1 & AV2). Otherwise you have to manually switch to the right input every time.

I'll keep it and enjoy it!

The video display is very good, however, the mirror is very poor quality. You will
need to cut a new mirror to put over the one that comes installed. If you do not
want a blue screen when not in reverse, connect the acc 12 volt wire to the reverse
12 volt wire, if you want to use the video 2 input, connect the acc 12 volt wire to
the acc 12 volt. Overall, I would say it is a good system, except for the mirror.

Better than I expected. Just as advertised. Installation was not hard. Took about an hour and I now have 2 cameras hooked up through this unit. One for the gooseneck hitch and one for the bumper hitch. Easy to operate and switch between cameras.

I paid to have this installed. The screen rolls and is worse when the engine is running. The documentation does not even include a website to inquire for solutions let alone a toll free or paid client services number.
