Fits great and very durable.

I wear a 'large' size in all my other gloves, but these are too small in a large.

I have used the Original Mechanix glove that cost $25 at Home Depot and wore them out within weeks. The DeWalt DPG20XL are by far a much better work glove. Their is an extra layer of material between the index finger and the thumb. That helps the glove last longer, protects the hand better, and provides better grip because that area is textured. There is also an elastic strip at the wrist that keeps dirt, sand, wood chips, etc. from getting into the glove when working. Other than that, the Mechanix glove and the DeWalt glove have the same Synthetic leather finger tips and elastic material on the back of the hand.

I would recommend these gloves to anyone, and I would use them instead of Mechanix gloves if I had a choice between the two.

I purchased the XL size glove because that is what I always require in a glove. Normally, I do not have a problem finding a glove to fit if it is indeed an XL size. Not so with this DeWalt glove. I could barely get my hands into them. I've seen other reviews of this glove where people felt the glove was too small and one who said he thought the sizing seemed to have changed; where he once bought this glove and it fit, then bought it again and they were too small. I have had similar sizing problems with products imported from other countries, particularly Asian products, where sizes seem too run smaller than what I'm used to. I did not expect this to be the case with the DeWalt gloves, but alas, they are made in China and are definitely too small.
Aside from the sizing issue, the gloves seem to be nicely made and well finished.

As with most things these days, this pair of gloves was made in China. The physical construction of the gloves shows that they're well made, and with good materials. The only problem for me is that the pair I received are at least one size smaller than what I expected. I ordered XL and I got XL according to the packaging, but my hands barely fit into the gloves and the reinforcement band across the knuckles is uncomfortably constricting. Had I known this when ordering, I'd have ordered a pair of XXL, if they're available. My recommendation is to order at least one size larger than you normally would. Hope this helps, Dennis

The Dewalt is a slightly better value than the Yougstown gloves. But it is also a simpler more basic glove. These should be reasonably durable for dirty work and masonry. The XL size in Dewalt seems to fit about like the 2XL in the Youngstown. In general the synthetic material palms wear more quickly than leather but they do not suffer as badly as leather from repeated wet/dry and dirty cycles.

Horrible. The first time I wore these, they tore at the seam between glove and wrist. Don't buy. I shouldn't have.

These gloves might work out OK if all you plan on doing is digging in the yard or something, but if you're going to be handling materials that might be lacquered, painted, or otherwise finished, beware that the material on the palms pills up and leaves big black smudges all over everything. I think I'll stick to the all-leather cheapies.

These are definitely durable gloves but they run a little small.

All my other gloves, both winter and general work use, are all size Medium. I ordered these Dewalt gloves in Medium with the same thought in mind, but right on the first try, my fingers reached the tips and the velcro wrist straps didn't make it to the wrists.

This wasn't an issue of "breaking in" the gloves; they were just a bit too small. More precisely, there was actually a small gap where all the fingers meet the palm, so even the length of the glove fingers were a bit short.

At least my father is getting some use out of these now, since it fits him just right.

One other note after seeing the gloves in person. The yellow color is quite a bright yellow, not muted or dull. And being a light color, easily shows stains, marks, etc.

dewalt glove was really a medium or large size glove with x large size tag clipped on..... i was fully expecting a proper fitting glove which i had purchased before from stores......this pair is worthless for my use which i needed...i will pass on down to a size fitting co worker.... when buying this glove, one should buy at a dealer store if product is on inventory...can be found at farmer/rancher stores across the midwest...try the glove on first before purchasing...hold out to shop for this item personally...manufacturers seem to keep changing specs as far as sizing goes...XLarge should be a man's size 5 or 11 depending on scale with room to spare in fingers and palm.....glove is sold at dewalt stores, but much higher price then online shopping or independent dealers...you have to try on clothes for proper fit including gloves nowadays
