I purchased the Dewalt DPG55-11C Clear Anti-Fog Protective Safety Glasses with Dual-Injected Rubber Frame and Temples for eye protection in the OR. I am a 4th year medical student and was constantly struggling to find a pair of protective eyewear that would prevent anything from splashing into my eyes, not fog up, and be comfortable to wear for the 10-12 hour surgeries I was scrubbing in on. These glasses provided all that and stayed put without sliding down my nose. I wish I had found these glasses sooner.

I was looking for a nice pair of wrap arounds that kept me from fogging them up. These did the trick!

The lenses are optically clear and the frame very stout. The temples adjust well for larger heads and the nose rest has a natural feeling. The glasses rest comfortbly on your head like a quality pair of Oakley sunglasses..

Awesome pair of protective goggles. I fog up glasses all the time and never believed in "anti" fog lenses. I have yet to experience normal, everyday "excessive" workday fogging. Unless I'm sweating and not cleaning my lenses or I work in a cold place and move to a warm place, these glasses don't fog up. I work in an environment that requires safety glasses all day and these are THE BEST I've ever had. The other cool feature is the adjustability. I don't remember reading this anywhere but not only do the temples telescope in and out for a more snug or loose fit, but they also tilt at the hinges which raise or lower the lenses on your face. SO COOL. And if that doesn't top all, the nose piece swivels at the hinge points to accommodate different bridge sizes so I can either have them snug up against my face or slightly raised off my face. If I had to state a "con" it would be my all time "too many moving parts" comment which I use because it's a natural flaw... the more moving parts something has, the more opportunity there is for broken parts. So far, these glasses have defied that theory but will let you know if anything changes. These glasses are worth the money if not a steal. All I need now is some attachment gimmick for a strong led inspection light on the temples or something.

I discovered one thing on accident with these glasses and that's it has this cool tilt feature. You can tilt it right at the hinge. This is pretty neat for those that have odd shaped noses, ears etc. I have an Asian face so the titling allows it to fit better on my nose and makes it less loose when i'm under the car or the like.

Another benefit is that these are pretty light. I've accumulated a few scratches on the lens, otherwise I wouldn't' know i was wearing them.

These safety glasses are adjustable at the hinge area and at the length of the arms. The nose pads are large, and combined with the adjustability make it more comfortable on my face (Asian with no prominent bridge at nose). At regular tilt, the lenses hit my cheek bones but I can tilt the entire lens up for a comfortable fit. They feel pretty good after 4 hours of wearing, and I have a somewhat large head. The glasses are some anti-fog properties, but it amounts to slightly blurred vision when breathing hard or sweating. When you're wearing a face-mask, it may cause some condensation that looks like your vision is a bit blurred rather than fogged. It is a similar effect to spraying anti-fog solution on a set of lenses. However, the price and versatility make this a great product! I'm ordering a second pair!

You're on this page for a reason. Buy 2 pairs. They're worth it.

I almost gave 4* because they will FOG when using a dust mask. However, they're far and away the best safety glasses I've ever worn (that list isn't considerably long).

Both frame arms are adjustable. Frame arms are coated with rubber (not cheap plastic which scrapes the skin). Middle nose piece is rubber too. Comfortable.

I have a pair of cheapy's and when I misplace these, I'll look around for 5 minutes before settling for the other junkers.

Buy these and you'll never go back. I might've talked myself into buying another pair.. yeah, I did.

I am in love with these. They fit perfectly, don't fog, and don't slip in the OR. The optics on them aren't the best, but for the money you can't ask for more. Perfect for anyone looking for cheap eyewear for surgery
