My 13 y/o daughter has been anxiously awaiting this book. Now, she feels she would have preferred to have waited longer for a more thought-out conclusion to the trilogy.

She found the absence (she wasn't even mentioned)of one character disturbing. Typographical and grammatical errors were spread throughout the book. The retelling of events that occurred in earlier books wasn't always accurate. Finally, the conclusion left her saying "What?".

Overall, she felt it was a good book, but the above listed problems took away from the story.

It seems like this book was delayed forever, or maybe it just feels like I've been waiting forever. I really like this series! I was filled with joy and sadness at the same time after I read this. Ronaldo, Bumble and Marian once again steal the show, but there's a serious side to them as well this time. But the dragons of Wyvernwood, especially the triplets, Chan, Luna and Harrow, take center stage as the forest comes under attack from humans and a new land must finally be found for all the dragons and their mythological friends.
Bailey's writing is very sharp and visual. You can almost see pictures in his words, and he writes with a real rhythm. Sometimes his words are a little big, though. But that's not a complaint. It's great fun to read and a great way to learn new words.
My one complaint is aimed at the publisher. The covers of the first two volumes were gorgeous. But the artist must have died or something, because this cover doesn't do the book or the series justice at all!
Buy it anyway. You won't regret it at all, and you'll meet some of the coolest characters in fantasy anywhere.
