Longtime fans of Margaret Cho's have known her comedy routine and act well before mainstream America did. Did Cho conform to fit in with mainstream America....Hell no! Hell hath no fury until they listen to Cho.

Taking bits and pieces of her life and everyday routine things, Cho is able to construct them in a manner that, quite honestly, is fitting and appropriate. Her take on dating, Asian-Americans, her GPA, making movies, taking drugs, and yep the big one...SEX are hilarious. Her battle with weight and her short lived situation comedy, All-American Girl are all captured here for your listening pleasures! Unwind, relax, sit down, and play along!

If you haven't seen Cho live, then this is what you are missing. Captured right here in one easy to reach place, this CD will surely cure and afternoon blues!

Basically, this was a first attempt for Margaret with her stand up.
All of her jokes on this CD are funny, yes, but are re-vamped in her later 3 CD's: I'm The..., Notorious..., and Revolution.
I would reccomend buying one of these three instead.

For example, Gwen, who washes Margaret *down there* is portrayed as a tiny southern woman on this CD, not the crazy, outrageous, drag-queen-like woman she is on I'm the One That I Want.

Basically, you could pass this CD up for Margaret's other work and not miss much.

Very few Asians would have accomplished what Margaret have in the world of Stand-ups. I enjoyed the album very much and it showed her spontaneity with the audience. Well done and keep it up!

Margaret Cho is the foulest, most irreverent, and funniest female comic around. Pretty much everything on this album is a riot, but it's worth the price just to hear Margaret's mother accuse her of being a lesbian. Hysterical.

She's funny, shes hilarious, and she doesnt care what you think cause she "goes there" and doesnt come back. As she says "I live there...I dont go there cause I live there!" Buy today and laugh the night away!

This is simply the best cd that you can ever buy! Margaret Cho has been my favorite comedian of all time and I was surprised to know that she had a cd out. You can never get tired of her. I wish she'd put out another cd with all her new skits like "MULAN!!".

I loved Margaret Cho on this CD. She is amazingly talented, especially when she does the imitations of her mom. She's proud of her image and that is something to be commended for. You go girl!

Margaret Cho is the funniest woman alive today! She talks about growing up and really take syou back on a nostalgic trip back to the 70's and 80's and then switches over to how her TV sitcom got started.

The highlights are when she does her impression of her mother. This will later on be her trademark material. An absolute must if you can get your hands on this album!

I have been a fan of Margaret Cho for years, I didn't realize that this cd was available. It was printed in 1996 before she was famous as she is now. This cd is effing funny!!!! I nearly peed my pants when I listened to it the first time. I could nearly listen to it over and over again and still laugh as hard as I did the first time, some of the jokes on the cd, she uses in her later shows, but are still funny. The only downside to the cd is that it has only one track, tho there are 15 listed on the back of the cover art. No worries for me tho, I like to listen to it through. If you like comedy cd's then this is one for your collection!! Hope this review helps you! : )
